Does anyone have the details for the forum post that show the functions that dont work in the V1.0 release? I cant access the forums because they have been throttled.

Let me guess.... you want 64bit.

So noticed something with maintaining flight level. Continuously adjusts and tries to maintain flightlevel. Moves up and down by as much as 200ft either way. AT FL310

That is known and has been posted as a bug on their forum

ok thanks

Lenny, can you please tell me what version of X-Plane you are on? Also I would like to know which joystick you are using and if you get the problem if you "center" it before using the IXEG 737?

Thank you, Jan

I'm using 10.45. Also using  Saitek Yoke.

As well, there appears to be a serious problem with FMU synching with LNAV. I began my descent and I got clearance to a particular RWY. I reprogrammed the FMU for the STAR etc. It  wouldn't follow the path and the plane disappeared from the navigation display.

Hmm, ok - I don´t want to turn this thread into a support one... We are happy for all the reports we can get on the official forums. I know they are offline right now due to server load, but once you can access, please let us know of any problems you have with this plane.

The more information we can get about your setup and what you did, the sooner we will be able to fix issues.

Thanks for your help!

Jan

ok thanks. Yes I'm trying to get on the X-Aviation forum.

Hi Jan,

To stop the up and down oscillations at cruise level tried setting the N1 limit to CRZ , I saw this mentioned on Twitch and it solved my problem with oscillating up and down a few hundred feet

Maybe this is a bug and it should do this automatically when you are at cruise ALT?

Yes, the N1 Limit should go to CRZ as soon as the altitude is reached. This is a bug, but I don´t think related to the oscillations. Some users have reported that temporarily disabling FSUIPC helped them... we are currently still investigating.

Damn  I thought I would try a reinstall and see if the FMC works beter with the default FMS data and now I cannot even install the plane anymore. "Error fetching URL http://www.x-aviation.com/merchant/wrapper.php"

Unhappy camper here.

Give it a minute, the servers are currently overloaded, I think...

Jan

Thanks for the prompt reply Jan. it is frustrating for all that that everything is overloaded :)

So, looks like a community member over at X-Pilot found a link between the AP being unable to maintain a cruise alt and weird VNAV behavior. Looks like the IXEG has a problem with XUIPC. I removed XUIPC plugin for a test flight and the aircraft now flies beautifully in VNAV and LNAV & maintains the correct altitude  .

Hi flightskyc,

thanks for that report!

I doubt that setting the N1 limit to CRZ would change anything (while that IS a bug, it should switch to CRZ automatically). The N1 LIMIT only really determines the limit of the autothrottle when it goes to "full power", which is not the case in the oscillation bug.

I hope that we have found the cause with the relation to FSUIPC. We will need to verify this, and then I am sure we will work together to get it resolved... now to squash all the FMC crashes that still lurk.

Thanks again, Jan

Hmmm, the problem is after all just an incompatibility with a plugin....

I was finding it strange that the team didn't test some of the problems being mentioned.

Looks like a really great add-on!

They maybe in the end felt a need to just release it (After all, we never shut up about it ;-). I'm confident they'll get the issues resolved

I've so far had 3 crash to desktops. I haven't been able to work out what caused it (and whether it was the 737 causing it), the log files say nothing useful.
