Hole in the Cockpit

Featured Replies

Hello,

I don't know if this issue was posted already but I recently noticed that there seems to be a hole in the cockpit of the PMDG 777-200LR.

Has anyone else also got this issue?

Hmmm, I never noticed that.  I'm going to have to take a look now.

So that's why the cabin altitude horn went off

I know there's a lot of money in aviation because I put it there.

It's not on mine.

I believe it is as a result of your head position.

Your head is positioned very close to the glareshield, any nearer and you'll be outside

support.precisionmanuals.com to report it to ensure it gets into the SP.

Looks like a large cup holder ;)

Maybe a back-up system when airconditioning fails. Have you read the manuals?

Can't figure out where I need to report it.. probably not via a ticket because there is no option to do so

Well I use to set my "head" position a bit higher than default.

Set eyepoint to 7.440 that will get rid of it.

I'm not sure what you mean.  Going to support.precisionmanuals.com will allow you to create a support ticket to raise the issue to them.  The log-in information is not the same information as the e-commerce info on the PMDG main page, or the forum here, by the way.

I don't think this is a good idea, since PMDG adjusted the viewpoint for the optimum reference position.

Though, with FSX bugs changing the camera viewpoint, it can get off near the poles (especially while turning).

I had the same problem I adjusted it and now it works you only need to touch the ones I have highlighted in the red.

This not the FSX bugs camera viewpoint, just the adjustment on PMDG.
