May 1, 201412 yr Thanks, Dylan....somebody had mentioned earlier WoAI left a trail of entries in the P3D cfg. Ken World of AI is bgl based in your generic folders. It doesn't put anything in your .cfg. If you uninstall it will leave the old BGL files in your world/scenery folder but it takes 10 seconds to delete them all.
May 1, 201412 yr I forgot one other step. You need to disable the default traffic if you do not want to see default traffic. Go to the main Prepard3v2 folder then scenery/world/scenery. Rename trafficAircraft.bgl to trafficAircraft.bgl.passive (or just add passive to the end). Best regards, Your procedure (thanks for sharing) to get MTX installed in P3Dv2.2 worked perfectly (noting also your cautions on what not to use or do). Edit: it too 25 min to get the many GB of data copied over to P3D ... but worth the wait! Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
May 1, 201412 yr Finally, Burkhard is up and running P3Dv2.2 He now has separate aircraft and scenery anomaly reporting threads in his MyTraffic P3D forum. May 1, 201412 yr Maybe he will release an initial installer for MTX 3D for P3Dv2.2 .... to check it out also. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
May 1, 201412 yr He now has separate aircraft and scenery anomaly reporting threads in his MyTraffic P3D forum. That might be a problem with version 5.4c as so many others have encountered. I have version 5.4b and afraid to upgrade again to 5.4c until I know it is safe. Know this is off topic but just wanted to pass on a friendly reminder that we have changed our signature policy again and we are kindly asking everyone to please put their system specs and flightsim information in their respective "My Profile" (well you did that but did not remove the info from your signature space). More details can be found at the following link - http://forum.avsim.net/topic/436632-new-signature-rules or under the Forums tab above. Thanks for your cooperation. May 1, 201412 yr Why have a traffic ai program if they don't follow real world routes? To see real world airlines? Don't get hung up on this "everything must be real down to the last baggage cart" idea. Does it really matter if AI airliners do not fly real world routes? Does it really matter if the 777 that you are flying on a particular route is an LR rather than an ER?? May 1, 201412 yr Author I forgot one other step. You need to disable the default traffic if you do not want to see default traffic. Go to the main Prepard3v2 folder then scenery/world/scenery. Again, thanks so much for the help with MY Traffic X. Regards, Lamar Wright Regards Lamar Wright
May 1, 201412 yr Does it really matter if the 777 that you are flying on a particular route is an LR rather than an ER? I would think to the majority that know the difference, a firm yes. Same with seeing the correct engine type. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
May 2, 201412 yr I would be very interested to know the figures, Dave. Whilst I totally understand why some guys want to be that accurate, I would be surprised if the vast majority think like that. However, I am prepared to be proved wrong  Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
May 2, 201412 yr You're right Chris, I think that that many users wouldn't even notice, either by not really caring or simply not knowing the differences. That being said, it should still be done right. It's similar to having good quality repaints using accurate colours and fonts, it makes a big difference. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
May 2, 201412 yr Check the flag on the repaint.https://www.dropbox.com/s/9i8y49sprodb2u1/MyTraffic-USAir-Flag.jpg Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
May 3, 201412 yr Check the flag on the repaint. Is that just a trick to not look at how ugly the model is? i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
