Just got back from my DC trip.  We flew in the other way though, the RNAV approach due to airpsace restrictions that they have.  It's pretty fun because you come in at an angle then make a final turn to line up with the run way literally less than a mile out.  Interesting landing.  Departures that way are fun as well.  Soon as it's off the ground, bank left and climb.
