Relaxing in Chicago Midway. The past three days my NGX has been on

Hey.  I was just parked there today.  I kept the gate nice and warm for you D.  

I love Midway.  Flown there about twice, not sure why but like flying into that airport.

 

It is one of my favorite Payware airports but it scares me to death sometimes because of those short short runways.   Landed there today on VatSIM under full controller support and had to do a go around.   Touched down to far down the runway.   Full power, nose up, gear up, flaps up!   The talk of shame on the ATC channel as I request a go around.  Nailed it the second time around.  Took the whole bloody runway to stop my bird!   It is a 'rush' airport.  I always get sweaty palms coming in on KMDW.  

Perth YPPH approach from Broome 

Yeah, I don't remember which runway it was but last time I departed from there I got awfully close to using almost the whole runway to take off.  I'd say about 85% of it LOL.  I was heavy on passenger and cargo and a decent amount of fuel.

 

It is one busy airport though!
