Honestly I think it looks like XPX with a light mod. I hope XPXI they focus less on the visuals and more on the immersion.

I total agree with you Robert. Even X Plane 10.30 Beta 3 looks awesome. Really becoming a great sim. One thing that I feel needs a look at down the road is the weather depiction. I agree that it is looking better with the previous betas but if we could somehow have a program like ASN in X Plane 10. That would put it over the top. The pilotedge coverage area is coming along nicely as far as airport scenery goes. Very few airports have not been done that is in the coverage area. Now the question I have is am I ready to go to a triple pc setup????? Three LG 29 Ultra Wide monitors shooting a visual approach into the sunset would look AWESOME!!!!

Get that 32 gigs of ram ready!

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.

EFASS (flight planning tool, moving map, chart viewer, etc) has a weather engine now!

Are you using EFASS with Sky Max Pro 1.3 or defualt X Plane 10.3B3 clouds? So this program downloads the weather and injects it into the sim how often?  Is EFASS network supported over three pcs or just single pc use?

I've just started using XPRealWX (www.fsrealwx.net)which is part of FSRealWX and installs as a plugin for X-Plane. I couldn't really get the EFASS weather engine to work and since I already use PFPX for flight planning would prefer to just stick with something that does just weather.

Has anyone used the XPRealWX plugin? How does it compare to the EFASS weather engine? I find it seems to do the job nicely but there are some slight wind shifts when weather gets updated (similar to what it did in FSX).

Yes, we are truly blessed to have a sim that can use all the power our systems offer - graphics cards, processor cores, and system RAM.

64-bits is a huge game-changer, it's incredible that Laminar saw the future and did the heavy lifting in the early days of version 10.  Combined with ridiculously simple network support for as many PCs and monitors as your budget can handle, X-Plane has become extremely attractive.

I'm just wondering what do you mean by immersion? I'm not an x-planer at the mo, but something I want to get in the future

Hey Robert have you updated anything with your sim pit? Hardware, pc updates, etc? Do you flying exclusively with sim avionics 737 on X Plane 10? What are you thoughts on X Plane 10.30B3? Really have enjoyed watching your videos. You were a big influence on trying the X Plane 10 platform for me. Thank You!

EFASS weather injector does work across multi-PC's - am using it and it looks spectacular. Have Server running on the Xplane machine, with an instance of EFASS running off a Microsoft Pro Surface (finally found a decent use for it). Great solution! The horizon haze, improved cloud shadows, enhanced sky colors - it's all good.

From the manual:

Multi-PC for X-Plane

This is quiet beta, but should work. Go to the UltraWX settings and click the XPSM tab. Enter the IP of your Simulator-PC and restart EFASS. Make sure the UDP Ports mentioned above are reachable in your network.

EDIT: oops, just realized you may have meant running a single instance to support a multi-PC setup ... in that case, unknown as I'm just running a single X-plane PC.

OK I updated EFASS this afternoon and went flying. The weather seems to be injecting correctly but I have a concern though. When I listen to the field's atis it doesn't match up to the current metar on fore flight? Where is the weather being pulled from?
