July 18, 201411 yr I seem to have purchased it. Have saved the _300ER zip to my drive, have my order number and activation key. Am just about to install it now. May all your landings be safe ones! Hugh Costello - NZWN
July 19, 201411 yr I'm not in a rush to by the 300. I plan to enjoy the new features and fixes in SP1 first. I'll probably buy it eventually as BA flies it. I'd rather have the 200ER though. As I said, I was not in a rush to buy the 300ER. I waited a whole day before hitting the order button.
July 20, 201411 yr No. I already have 77L which is overall better aircraft. I do not want to spend my money for the 99% same cockpit and functionality, and different 3d model. Not quite correct. Different Engines/systems/features/characteristics System: MSFS2024, ASUS Rog Stryx Z790-A, Intel i9-14900KF, Asus ROG Ryujin III 360 , Asus Hyperion Case,Rog Stryx 4090 OC, Samsung 970 EVO M.2 SSD, 1Tb Samsung 860 EVO SSD,64Gb G Skill Memory, Asus Aura 1200W Gold PSU,Win 11 ,LG C4 48" 4K OLED Screen., Airbus TCA Full Kit, Stream Deck XL. July 20, 201411 yr Not quite correct. Different Engines/systems/features/characteristics Ok one by one: 1.Different engines? I'll just quote RSR's post few years ago: I think what people are referring to above is that the operational differences between the two engine types being discussed are so minute that not one of you would be able to tell the difference operationally. I've flown airplanes that have engine type differences- and from a developer standpoint I find threads like this to be more humorous than anything else. 95% of the crews flying 777s for large lines probably can't tell you what manufacturer made their engines- never mind what model number or total thrust... 2.Different systems? I scrolled through whole Systems description in FCOM and here is what I found: - Power shedding at -200LR is a little bit different when backup generator powers the aircraft. Most of cabin lighting, most of exterior lighting, galley and entertainment system power, and the most important, tank override/jettison pumps. - Flight deck surveillance system power between 200 and 300 series airplanes - insignificant. - 6 advisory and 2 caution messages are not available as an option for 115B engines - In 300 series, cargo compartments have one fire detection zone. - Ground camera at 300er - Ground camera button at display select panel - Flight management, navigation chapter: cruise center of gravity default value can vary depending on what rules or series of aircraft is preselected. - Flight management, navigation chapter: cruise center of gravity valid entry range is different. - Semi-levered gear - 300ER has tail skid system. That's all. Pretty much insignificant. -200LR, -300ER and Freighter are almost identical system wise, but Freighter are a little bit different in terms of PA announcement system, cabin lighting... 3. Features? Yes, semi levered gear, tali skid, taxi camera and ground lighting. 4. Flight characteristics - a little bit different due different size of fuselage. July 21, 201411 yr Definitely yes, just as soon as I get back from holiday... Argh! The wait is killing me! CPL/MEIR
