September 28, 201411 yr +1 to Bernie5. Why wait? If and when Pmdg come aboard, I'll be ready. Until then, I'll be busy flying and enjoying everything P3D has to offer right now. Jazz Life's too short, eat dessert first.
September 28, 201411 yr Commercial Member I don't see why there's there's a question or why this thread even exists, there's no reason whatsoever to make a choice or try to determine whether one is better than the other, and there's certainly no reason to take sides and argue about it. I also don't understand the "I've uninstalled FSX and I'll never install it again" thought process. IMHO this thread makes about as much sense as analyzing pros & cons to determine why one of your children is better than the other.
September 28, 201411 yr Jim you hit the nail on the head. Fly what you like! I have not seen one developer saying they are abandoning FSX and going all P3D. It's a win win for both camps as Devs are now developing for both platforms and xplane. Imagine what it would be like if PMDG did win the rights to FSX rather than dovetail. From that standpoint PMDG must still think of fsx highly if they tried to buy the rights. Just enjoy flying whatever you enjoy. Some people still fly FS2004 so I don't see fsx disappearing anytime soon. Sean Green
September 28, 201411 yr I get it. people are pining for PMDG aircraft on P3d. You'll get your wish. I bet the chances of my other wish coming true (a significant discount for FSX owners of PMDG software who will never be using the FSX version again) are zero <_< Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
