August 26, 201411 yr BUT....I am flying through some of the most spectacular flight simulation weather and sky...I have EVER seen INSIDE a flight simulator....near Bisbee, Arizona...near mountain ranges at 12,000 feet ASL...and the sky is alive with the most beautiful clouds I have ever seen......that looks so real brought to myself by ASN driving Rex 4 Direct SP3. Rain pounding against the front panes....lightning flashes cracking all around me...lighting up the interior of the cabin....H.S.! Being buffeted, coming through 13,000..and breaking out to blue sky...billowing heads.....H.S.! This all inside the greatest rendering of sky, spatial light, fog, that only P3D can dish out.... wisps of water vapor....my gawd...all of it, that again, only P3D v2.3 can dish out like there is no tomorrow... I am SO HOOKED... OH...did I mention 27-33 FPS as all this is happening? No? We'll let me.... "Bye,Bye FSX....bye..bye......was fun......(waving hand....) ....bye-bye...." ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Mitch you better start posting some screen shots of the wounderous flights Buddy Rich Sennett

It was pretty active...lightning all around....tried to capture some...but my timing was off, lol....

LOLOLOLOL Hey...not bad for a system of 5 years old...an i7-975 Extreme coupled with a GXT680 2 GB'er.... Rich, I pretty much stay around 27-30 FPS...and in REALLY heavy cloud activity...many layers...whatever, a happy 18-30 FPS. So..I feel no pressure at the moment to upgrade anything. The 680 just mashes out great eye-fodder as you can see, no artifacts...and like a good heart...pump-FPS pump.... signed; P3D v2.3 addict.
