How about a release, I paid what, $70 for this? I have used it maybe 10 times? It crashes constantly on takeoff.

What should they do release it before it is finished?

Do you know when the V2 will be available ?

Thanks

Unfortunately not. In the last 3 days, the team has tested 3 new release candidates. We are talking either days or weeks. Once the main issue holding back the release is fixed, I see no reason not to release the v2.

Please report this on the ProATC forum. Include log file and description of what happened. Also a list of add-ons you are using.

I have been at the ProATC forums for 2 years now and I can't remember seeing a post about ATC crashing on takeoff.

We are currently testing v1279, new features include ATC in contact with other aircraft both on the ground, take off and approach. Holding is also now implemented. My last test flight, EGKK to EGBB went perfectly. We are very close.

Catching up with PFE then!

Is this new version also compatible with Prepard3D V2.4?

I heard it will be.

IF this works then it will replace FSX/P3D ATC for good, becoming a must buy for most people.

Fingers crossed!

Just to a small amount of expectation management. This quote from the ProATC website still holds true in v2.0:

"PRO-ATC/X is designed to control aircraft flying under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR). So if you prefer "The Big Ones", you are for sure surfing on the right site."

VFR flying isn't the main focus of ProATC (at least not to my knowledge) so it isn't able/designed to completely replace default FSX ATC.

So it's either "very close" or "days or weeks"? The wonderful world of software development.

As a member of "The Oldar", you more than anyone else should be comfortable with this notion of time...what's a few more weeks when you've been around for such a long, long time? :P

Sorry, couldn't resist, and yes, I'm looking forward to this release as well.
