Global AI Ship Traffic FSX and P3D News and Support

Finally I got my new computer with room for MSFS and could start looking at it - the good news is that most ships convert well, but the bad news is that at least for the moment we are missing good tools to automatize the process... and with 1300 ships it is a bit of a job... not to forget that all ships have to be tested...

But it does look nice in the sim 😄

All ships were exported today and there is now traffic all over...

Approx 10% of the ships have some sort of problems and wakes are not as intended, but we will get there...

I notice that you haven't put the requisite number of rivets on the container ship. Will this be fixed before release?

This is the reason containers sometimes end in the sea... carelessness from my side... I will try to do better in the future😉

Now please don't tell me that the emergency routes are not indicated....

Since MSFS is so MP / Live focused - will shipping work in MP for anyone with the addon? ( ie will 2 players with the mod see the same ships in the same location? )

Thanks - great work!

Why not bring the project to Github?

I fly online with p3dv4. We set the time in the flightsim to the same time and we see the same ships in the same places.

So if it works the same in 2020, then yes. you see them.

Hi

Some of the fundamental issues are not solved e.g. effects and hard decks - also we are looking into some strange phenomenons where ships with multiple liveries are called randomly instead of with the correct livery - like if your AI flightplan says Boeing 737.800 KLM livery and what appears is a Boeing 737-800 Norwegian livery...

But we are working on the project...

Looking amazing! The wakes have disappeared after the recent MSFS Update #7 by a few users. Not sure if thats a good or bad thing.
