Ebs I have watched your GTN 750 video several times and think it is the best one for learning but I am still confused about a few things.  When you were nearing Fort Dodge runway did you input the altitude changes or did the GTN do that automatically?

Also wanted to say I would bet your Turbine Duke video has sold a ton of Dukes,,,it sold me mine,,,well done !

The P3D GTN750 removed from the flight1tech shop?

There is a new product released the g750 a standalone GTN that runs outside the sim in a separate window.

The P3D GTN750 removed from the flight1tech shop.

I noticed this too - a web site issue or on purpose?

I am probably in the vast minority here, but after using both the GTN750 and 650 for quite some time now.  I still prefer the 650 in most cases, especially in most sub 200kt GAs.  lol, I'm probably the only one here who would recommend it over the 750 for most light GA planes.  With it's main nav page with 6 data fields, plus a map page with 4 data fields, it provides more useful numerical data on a single page.   The 750 only has the main map page with 4 data fields.  I am surprised that with a  bigger map display why it doesn't have room for more data field spots along the edges.

I think if you are a numbers flyer, the 650 is for you, if you a visual image flyer, the 750 is for you.  The 750 still shines very well in certain planes, like the T Duke, especially since things happen really fast in the ability to quickly change approaches and see the changes in flight path is very handy.   I can also see the GTN750 fitting in very well with the BTS RV-7....perhaps some day if Danny ever returns to flightsimming he would consider updating with a GTN option.

FYI the A2A Civil Mustang is slated to be released with a GTN650 option in a future update, which will breath new life in that beauty.  The fastest piston GA in FS with GTN...yeeha!  I wonder if Michael over at Lotussim has considered a GTN650 option for the L-39C.  I haven't been to his forums in a while, the L-39C is an awesome addon, but just haven't gotten around to flying it lately.  I hope addon developers keep the 650 in mind as well, its a very underrated GPS that provides all the great GTN stuff while being compact and thus perfect for cockpits with limited space or panels that would otherwise require a major rework for the 750.

Cheers

RealAir is supposed to have GTN 750 integration for their Duke B60 V2 and their Legacy in August.

Danny and Mike - two devs gone by the wayside and it sucks

I enjoy the RV and L39 tremendously in fsx!

Would love them in P3D

It would be great if they could link 2 units.

I've been anxiously awaiting this. I run a pair of 750's in the T-Duke V2 and love'em.

Last time I asked they said August but not sure it that will happen. I have the turbine and also want to get the b60  and Legacy if and when they integrate the 750.

Not wiped out so much as made inoperative. No great surprise since the units depend on reading the exact version number(s) so that they can activate the correct memory offsets for their digital 'hooks' into the sim's core.

This happens every time FSX:SE or Prepar3D is updated.
