I read the same sale for the 777-200LR at $350,000,000,00. I'll have the 300ER while I'm at it then.

The problem with the boxed version and what you called a nice printed manual, there was no mention of installation instructions. I had to open the disc up to see the Read Me file.

I sent a message to Aerosoft asking the same question as to whether they would be releasing the updates for the 737NGX.

Still waiting for reply. I also asked the same question to the retailer I purchased the boxed version but they are closed Saturdays.

The Steam version of the 737NGX is still under development by PMDG, and has not, so far as I know, even entered beta testing yet. When it is finally ready for release, it will first be available solely and exclusively from the PMDG web site as a download.

While it may eventually be available in boxed form from Aerosoft or other online retailers, that will be many weeks or months down the road. Aerosoft has only recently released the boxed version of the PMDG 777, almost a year and a half after it first came out as a download direct from PMDG.

Not until 00:00 on Monday the 2nd. Sunday still counts as this week as far as I am concerned.

Must have seen something else about the 737NGX obviously. But the 777 has definitely been updated to be compatible with FSX and SE.

Isn't Sunday the start of the week, it's late :-(

Will the customers who already bought the 777 for FSX get a discount for the P3D version?

Well as far as I am concerned Sunday is the end of the week, Monday is the start of the new week. If we don't hear any news within the next 12 hours then we can assume they have run into some obstacles in the 777 testing for P3D. Patience is key, it will be ready when its ready.

No. P3D is a different license to FSX, we will have to pay the full price for the 777 or NGX again, which is totally ok.

I think it's not totally ok because it's exactly the same product... only for P3D

I work 4 days on 2 days off, my week starts and finishes differently every week lol. To be quite frank, I don't give a hoot about the 777, as I wouldn't have time to fly long haul flights anyway, I barely have time for short haul flights. I don't really care about window geometry, P3D or FSX-ES either, I just want the bloody weather radar. However, I do hope that everybody gets what they want of this update, and isn't disappointed. Good luck with your wish list.

Didnt PMDG state they hoped to offer for a very limited time the opportunity to swap you FSX license to a P3D license for a upgrade fee?

I've been waiting a long time for the NGX update, until this is complete I don't have the urge to buy any other plane no matter how good.

In a word, nope.

Dan Downs KCRP

Actually found it and I was correct.

We are currently evaluating offering promotional pricing for users who wish to change platforms, but the details of this offer are still being evaluated and the program will be offered for a very limited period of time.

Hmmm...interesting. I'd be surprised if that actually happens, but fingers crossed.
