July 27, 201510 yr I'm pondering the same, looking at alternate cases now but not really coming up with anything other than the Lian Li-343B or the Lian Li PC-D666WRX ... other option is to fabricate some additions to the HAF X to support the extra radiators. Also looked at the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX but too small. NZXT Phantom 820 will do it Rob - things a beast luv mine https://www.nzxt.com/product/detail/96-phantom-820-full-tower-caes.html IMO looks awesome also Rich Sennett
July 28, 201510 yr Hi Mike A. Nice source ... like the custom build, but seems to be a 5-6 week delivery time ... but may have to use them for future PC builds around Skylake ... linked saved, thank you. Cheers, Rob. NZXT Phantom 820 Looks very nice Rich, but it's just not big enough for all those radiators I have. The more I think about this, I'll probably just fabricate something for my HAF X as temporary solution and plan my Skylake build. Cheers, Rob.

HMM - You can take a panel out of the bottom its all setup with a filter lots of room its on the right hand side on the bottom running h100 up top and h75 in the bottom but you can put another h100 down there instead and to the right in the middle you can add another water cooler - tons of room jsut remove some parts as they are only screwed in - its huge in real life pics dont do it justice brother - good luck - only thing I was not crazy about was flimsy ssd hard drive holders but thats no big deal - can beef those up easily How many radiators do you have ? Hi Mike A. Nice source Actually could remove everything on the right and make some cool ssd holders on top of your power supply - now that I think of it I might do that myself as my rig is a wip also Rich Sennett
July 28, 201510 yr Interesting Rich ... how many SSD's can fit in the 5.25" bays? I could probably put the one 240 rad on the bottom and maybe put the 120 rad in that NZXT removable area along with the pump ... not sure what to do with my reservoir. Maybe I could make it work ... but I do need to fit 4 SSDs.

July 28, 201510 yr Hi Rich, I'm favoring this case: http://www.nanoxia-world.com/product/1/55/Deep+Silence+6 but appreciate your input and your case is 2nd in the list. Cheers, Rob.

July 28, 201510 yr http://www.caselabs-store.com/the-magnum-double-wide-case-line/ Yep, that should just about do it.
July 28, 201510 yr Thanks again for all the suggestions, I stumbled on this case at Fry's Electronics (local) ... exactly what I was looking for. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133275 They only had the demo model so I ended up ordering from NewEgg. Cheers, Rob.

July 29, 201510 yr im a big fan of the duble cases; this looks like the mid sized one! Hey Chris, it's much larger than it looks in the picture with considerable room for multiple radiators, pumps, etc. HAF X (my current case) W = 230 (9.1) H = 599 (23.6) D 550 (21.7) 4660 cubic inches Core X9 W = 380 (15) H = 502 (19.8) D = 640 (25.2) 7484 cubic inches It was cheap steal case at $187 but definitely NOT the same level of quality as the Aluminum Case Labs units. That's the plan Rich! Cheers, Rob.
July 29, 201510 yr Hi Rob, Quick question: should I connect the three HAF X case fans directly to the Rampage V Extreme MoBo? I note that each fan has a 3 pin connector whereas the MoBo headers are each 4 pin. If so, then which header pins should be selected? Perhaps the connector will determine the appropriate selection as it slides onto the tongue of the MoBo header. Alternatively, it would appear that each fan could draw its power directly from the PSU via a molex connector. I am guessing that a MoBo connection will allow speed monitoring without speed control as there is no 4th pin on each connector, but I could be wrong. Connecting directly via molex to the PSU would have the fans running always at full speed. Regards, Mike
July 29, 201510 yr If you connect to the motherboard you will be able to use Asus fan control utility to manage fan speed and/or ROG unit to set fan speed mode. The only negative to plugging a lot of fans into the motherboard headers is they draw more power thru the motherboard. I suppose for ultimate OC, it's better to run from a separate fan controller direct to the PSU and not via motherboard ... choice is yours ... if you're going for extreme OC settings you might not want to use the MB headers. You should see a locking tab offset to the right of the 4 pins ... so use the far right 3 pins relative to facing the motherboard "Republic of Gamers" being read at normal orientation. Cheers, Rob.
July 29, 201510 yr Hi Rob, Thanks, that clarifies things nicely I will only be aiming for a 4.4/5 overclock, no higher, so MoBo connections should be okay, I think. One last query, if I may, on this topic: what is the unused CHA FAN PWM pin for on each MoBo chassis fan header? Regards, Mike
