April 10, 201511 yr +1 for Opus Fsi I bought EzDok and downloaded the P3d beta. What a nightmare, like OP stated works then doesn't work. I purchased Opus Fsi for the Camera alone as I am a ASN user. Been very happy with the product. The only thing is that I can't get the camera to float quite a smoothly between views as EzDok does but is is not bad, just being picky. You can trial Opus Fsi to see if it fits your needs. April 10, 201511 yr Not sure what the problem is, but ezdok has never worked better for me. The fairly recent beta update really improved on the program imo. Agree but I find the jerky transitions really annoying. I've gone for zero transition time to get around it. Haven't used EzDoc for years but I remember the transitions being silky smooth. gb. YSSY. April 10, 201511 yr I notice that ezdok doesn't always start when it is launched in the Sim... Or many times I'll get a simmconnect message suggesting that it is timing out. So I have a shortcut to the ezdok program which I then launch once in the Sim.... Then all is well. Actually, I use SimlauncherX which has a great launch feature allowing you to configure programs to launch or not... But the trick is once they are launched, there is a status of whether the program is running or not. Most times when I find the trackir is not working it's due to the ezdok program either quitting or not properly launching and it's status is off. I then relaunch it and can resume without issue. The root of the problem for me seems to be with the interaction of ezdok to simmconnect to the sim.
April 10, 201511 yr hey Marc , would you mind sharing your install procedure into P3d then and confirm you have WorldCam working also. Rick I installed ver 1.51..updated to 1.61..updated to 1.71. And then followed the procedure to install ( up date) to 1.18.5, then when that's done right click on the configuration tool, run as admin, then click the p3d button. not used the world camera yet, still in the early stages of getting use to p3d. download and instructions:- http://www.simforums.com/forums/ezca-1185-beta-available-for-download_topic51089.html
