  1. You are probably missing one of the needed libraries for the scenery. Make sure to read the "read me" coming with the scenery package.
  2. With W2XP + Ortho4XP, you get orthoimagery with the correct location for the autogen. Only if OSM is very detailed but it is the case for Germany. You can find your house in XP with this combo. I've seen more realistic screenshots of Germany than the one from FTX.
  3. edited: oops wrong topic.
  4. They don't go hand in hand. We are talking about autogen lod distance basically.
  5. I remember flying this aircraft for the first time in FSX. On flnal I turned off the autopilot to fly the aircraft by hand, It was the hardest thing i flew in the simulator. I touched half way on the runway. Pretty bad landing
  6. This. So your question does not really make sense actually.
  7. It's free for "research and education"... Well, we educate ourselves in flying VFR here
  8. I think you can find the same data for France http://professionnels.ign.fr/gratuit (sorry it's in french) . But maybe the available data on OSM is from IGN, not sure. Interesting though.
  9. Something tells me, we are going to see passengers entering/leaving the airplane soon Now modeling the terminal interiors will make more sense haha.
  10. I tend to pay attention to the vertical speed. It should be low no matter what
  11. You should try without Extended DSF
  12. Some screenshots with the Pumper cockpit: http://imgur.com/a/PZc8A
  13. X-Plane: - B777 (with the remade VC) / B757 / A350 from FF - Airbus from several devs. -Plenty of quality GA aicrafts But the most important thing is W2XPL with Photoscenery. It is magical. First you don't get blurries like in P3D, and second you get every buildings at their correct locations. However if you lurk fsdeveloper, it looks like it is coming for FS/P3D as well. FranceVFR does it but i read somewhere you get OOM fairly quickly...?
  14. I went to the FS Dreamteam settings menu and clicked 'save', but it looks like it modified my prepared.cfg. I can see the highmemfix=1. Should i delete this line...?
  15. Is this a mistake?
  16. I was seeing that in FSX with UT2 but not in P3D where I can see them farther (and i don't use UT2 in P3D).
  17. LM has a forum, if you want them to read your message. But is it doing that in other games as well?
  18. In FSX I would increase the LOD Radius to have less blurries in the distance, but we all know the LOD Radius setting is limited in P3D. However I'm getting blurries like those, I was flying at FL310 at M0.7x, so perhaps I was going to fast...? http://i.imgur.com/3V91sFF.jpg http://i.imgur.com/WczoXA8.jpg
  19. I think it's normal that they flicker. I mean the closer you get, the more details you get. In short the LOD is increasing: more polygons = more shadows.
  20. I could be wrong but I don't see differences in the sky between 2.3 (with cloud.fx fixed) or 2.4....? Screenshots please :o
  21. Nevermind. All I needed was to reinstall the Addon Manager which can be found here http://www.fsdreamteam.com/products_addonmanager.html
  22. I followed Rob direction to patch to 2.4 but looks like Addon Manager (from FSDT) will not run. Maybe I need to reinstall the scenery...?
