SP1 Released

You don't need to "recompile it". An ".spb" file is nothing more nor less than an FSX XML syntax set of gauge files that have been "compiled" into a shape-prop-binary format...

Bill do you think ths would be worth trying ? thanks

If you are at all comfortable editing XML scripts, why not? If you make a backup copy of the file before running spb2xml.exe on it to decompile to the original XML format, the "worst" that could happen is that you delete your self-inflicted mess and re-rename the backup file!

Great so what will the file look like after done just an xml file that replaces the original - thank you

After running spb2xml.exe,  rename the original spb file by adding .xx to the name and FSX will use the xml file instead.

It will only make FLC mode level off at the target altitude.

Nothing else is fixed by this  B)

Just made a flight about 450 NM and up to FL370. Everything went fine so far but on the ILS APP after intercepting the aircraft didnt follow the glide path after activating the APR Mode in the AP section. Before the SP I had no issues.....i had to disengage the AP and fly it manually.

Anybody else have the same problem?

Thx for your input!

Cheers,

Mark

Wow, that's the first time I've ever seen an A/T in a bizjet.   Great video.

Tried now again another 2 flights but again the APPR Button doesnt work. If you try to intercept the LOC and click on it nothing happened......frustrating

Also it shows LOC2 when you have selected VOR1/NAV1.....????

If it shows LOC2, you have found your problem... try setting it to LOC1.

Hi Bert,

also tried it with LOC1....the problem is that the APR Button doesnt work ;-)

I haven't seen much trash-talk on this bird since SP1 came out. Is it a Buy or a Wait?

.... I"m thinking of refund.

Don't want to let go though as I live in hope of a fix by Carenado or the community.... it's a good looker and has the potential of being a cracker if systems are repaired.

As it is just now it's too painful and frustrating to try and fly.
