Up until today I was completely unware...but just happened upon it. Didn't even notice it had its own forum - thanks to AVSIM again for this. I read the main thread for an hour and am going to give this a go. Downloading now as we speak. I have mostly FS Genesis NextMap mesh but not full coverage. I am going to be interested to do some comparisons. Anyway, much thanks to the developers and their support here....an amazing commitment by you guys. July 7, 20169 yr i have this problem in all lakes of south america. FSX-SE. I only use ORBx Global and Freemesh X. Somebody else? Any solution?

July 7, 20169 yr Author It's unavoidable, unfortunately. Those raised lakes are an artifact of the older stock vectors which only were designed to work with the stock mesh. You'll need updated vectors. Daniel Moser

Actually, it's answered on the first page FreeMeshX features LOD10 (38-m resolution) coverage for: North America (LOD10 Canada is released in this mesh - default USA is already LOD10, so USA is not included for the base release. A LOD11 USA mesh is in the works) South and Central America Europe Asia Africa Australia and Oceania So no improvements to the USA yet, although the USA mesh is pretty good for being stock.
