January 31, 201610 yr I can see that some elements are slightly blurred, but this screenshot does not seem to indicate a "pixellated mess". Maybe it's different when seen on a PC monitor? http://www.avsim.com/pages/0111/FltSimLab/pic_04_05.jpg I am flying Concorde right now on FSX-SE and this screenshot is exactly what I am seeing. Definitely not a pixilated mess. You have to get extremely close to the gauges or text button text before it starts to go blurry something that you would never do on a typical flight. I use 3x 4K 40" monitors, so I am probably zoomed in more than others. Apart from that someone should post a pic of the INS in VC, as someone would create a camera view in Ezdok or Opus, all I saw was pixels.

OOM and the product page is updated to reflect this problem. Mark CYYZ
January 31, 201610 yr I thought it will not run on a setup like this? OOM and the product page is updated to reflect this problem. I was down to a single monitor as part of the trouble shooting to try and make it work, and many 2D panels removed from the panel.cfg.

This is my camera view of INS on CS 1011($10 when I bought it): http://www.mediafire.com/view/durmbz0to8glg3s/CS_1011_INS.jpg Can anyone post a similar pic of ConcordeX?

Well its definitely crisper but it does not work like a proper INS (you load flight plans from a .pln file). I ditched my Captain Sim INS and installed the 2D Civa INS. I think if the VC was made to that level of detail it would OOM all the time when combined with all of the 2D panels. Mark CYYZ

Take a screen shot of what you are seeing and post it. If the screen shot looks good, you have could have a problem with the scaling in your monitor on on your GPU.

I think CS INS allows you to enter the waypoints if you like, I may be mistaken though, I was just following the tutorial flight. For ConcordeX it seems primary operation is via 2D panels, so VC is neglected. Take a screen shot of what you are seeing and post it. If the screen shot looks good, you have could have a problem with the scaling in your monitor on on your GPU. I got refunded and in-installed it, hence requesting someone else to post. What scaling issues are you pointing to?

If you are taking the resolution that the sim is running at, and changing the size of the VC to fit the monitors, you are scaling it or resizing it. This is where pixelation and distortion of the image occurs. If your VC looks good in a screen shot, it isn't t he fault of the aircraft's VC, if it looks bad on your monitor setup.

P3D is set to 11520x2160 for full screen, which is the native resolution of the monitors. The distortion, which I think you refer to, is only the side monitors.

It supports 1920x 1080 only It is the most complex aircraft ever produced for FSX but don't be intimidated by that. There is a full tutorial for the EGLL_KJFK route and you're encouraged to save the status of the aircraft at crucial points - before start, before taxi, before take-off etc. Thanks Ray! I watched Matt Davies struggling along on his first try here: http://www.twitch.tv/belynz/v/38687024 And it definitely looks doable This also gave me a good impression about the VC textures in P3D. Perry, I saw a few minutes of his broadcast and he seemed to have a reasonable grasp of how to operate her. I use a Sony 32" TV running at 1920x1080 for Concorde and find the quality of the display absolutely fine. I don't know what size monitor you would need for that resolution but it wouldn't be cheap. Becoming competent in flying Concorde is all about familiarity with its systems. Keep doing something long enough and it becomes second nature. I dread going back to a Boeing. It's so slow!!! January 31, 201610 yr Do you need to be a subscriber to watch that Matt Davies Concorde video? All I am getting is "Stream Starting Soon"..... EDIT: OK, it has started now.....but the audio is missing because of "copyright issues" Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
