August 19, 20169 yr Commercial Member CS 777, best 15 bucks I have spent so far. Does what I ask and auto lands with a perfect flare. I never flew a real 777 so I am sure I would not miss anything that PMDG could provide for 10 times the price. Paul Grubich 2017 - Professional texture artist painting virtual aircraft I love. Be sure to check out my aged cockpits for the A2A B-377, B-17 and Connie at Flightsim.com and Avsim library
August 19, 20169 yr Commercial Member While I appreciate people's support, keep in mind that we don't allow criticism of other publishers here. People are entitled to their opinions. If their opinions and preferences are to support another developer, that's their choice. Not sure why someone would interject an opinion about a product they don't have, in the customer forum of that product's developer, but there are larger questions in life to be answered... August 19, 20169 yr FSX basically uses lookup tables to figure out how an aircraft would fly. This is misleading. FSX uses tables to compute aerodynamic coefficients and derivatives (functions of AOA, Mach, etc), computes forces and moments and then integrates these using equations of motion. This can simulate the physics of flight very well. How well depends on the FDE designer. Default models are very basic, good payware can produce very realistic handling. In addition PMDG add a fair amount of custom simulation outside the FSX model, further enhancing realism.
