Nice shot upward shot.  Seems like rain should be mostly invisible except when it hits the ground, ya know?

Not exactly true. Take a photo with very short shutter speed (1/1000s) and you will see every single drop in your shot.  :smile:

Probably true.  Still, when I look outside I often have to look down to see if it's raining.

Of course. That is because human eye is capturing the world at a shutter speed of ~1/50s :)
