December 17, 20169 yr Commercial Member Reading on their sales / support pages I noticed Xtreme Prototypes support is not always provided by the developer. "If you have purchased your addon from one of our authorized resellers, please contact your reseller for customer support." I have had problems with type of non-developer support in the past. Xtreme Prototypes normally answers support requests the same day or within one business day. We try our best to offer one of the best personalized customer support in the industry, in both English and French. This applies to both customer support and technical support requests. Two forms are provided on our website for either type of request. If you have purchased your addon from one of our resellers and have issues related to downloads, activation keys, order replacement, etc. (sales support), you should contact your reseller as we don't keep details related to sales from our resellers and we have no control on their websites. If you have purchased your addon directly from us, you can contact us for sales support and we will be happy to assist you. Technical support (help for installing and operating your addon), patches and updates are provided to all users. Personalized technical support is provided to registered users only. Please note that our new products, such as the GLJ Model 25 SE business jet addon, are no longer offered through resellers and are sold exclusively on Xtreme Prototypes' website. Not a support question, but one thing I thought I would ask. Would you consider making reflections for the inside the cockpit windshield? I would add some depth and immersion. Mitchell Haughee
December 18, 20169 yr Commercial Member Not a support question, but one thing I thought I would ask. Would you consider making reflections for the inside the cockpit windshield? I would add some depth and immersion. The windshield, windows, as well as the glass in front of the gauges are all reflective but the effect is not exaggerated. It depends on the angle of view, the time of day and the position of the sun. We don't like to use bitmaps to artificially simulate "static" reflection that never changes. We believe reflection should be dynamic. In the past, we received complaints from users about too much reflection in windows or tinted glass because these users had purchased exciting sceneries and could not appreciate them to their fullest through the windows. So we've decided not to tint the windows and minimize reflection. Unfortunately, we know we cannot please everyone. Although we cannot promise anything at this time, we've considered offering two types of "user-selectable" windshields, one with more reflection and scratches/dirt (and possibly tinted glass) and another clear one with less reflection. We are currently collecting data, suggestions and ideas from users for our first patch for the GLJ Model 25 SE addon. We invite users to report any issue or bug and to share their wish list for future updates. Users can report issues and submit their ideas though our general customer support form on our website: https://xtremeprototypes.com/en/shopcustcontact.asp Alain Rouleau Producer - X-Series Xtreme Prototypes, Inc. January 15, 20179 yr 2017-1-15_12-8-33-262 by Mitch Haughee I tried my hand at painting for FSX. This is my first one and its not awesome. It is of the real aircraft N219RB. If people are interested I will look into uploading it to avsim. What do you guys think? Mitchell Haughee

January 15, 20179 yr I uploaded it here today and I just saw that it is up. Have fun and sorry its not perfect! I assume it works fine in P3D, but maybe if someone with that sim can post a shot of it here or let me know it works. thanks! Mitchell Haughee
January 15, 20179 yr I bought it when it was released but didn,t work in p3dv3 so I installed the fsx version but this version doesn,t work well in p3d,(some bugs). Is there any news about an update for a working p3d v3 version?
January 16, 20179 yr Commercial Member The GLJ Model 25 SE is a native Prepar3D v3 addon fully compatible with P3Dv3. We never had any complaints about the addon "not working" in the sim. Did you contact Xtreme Prototypes for technical support regarding your issues? While we do not answer technical support requests in forums, we offer personalized technical support to registered users and we answer normally the same day or within one business day. As for the FSX version, it is fully compatible with FSX SP2 with AEP, FSX Gold fully installed, FSX Steam, Prepar3D v1 and v2. It is also compatible with P3Dv3. The only difference between the native Prepar3D v3 version and the FSX version, is that the FSX version contains a few less animations in the cockpit due to some limitations in the simulation platforms. All systems are identical in both versions. Did you report the "bugs" you are referring to so they can be investigated and possibly corrected in our upcoming patch for this addon? Please feel free to report any issue you may encounter while installing and flying this addon. Xtreme Prototypes welcomes comments, ideas and suggestions from our most valuable users because they allow us to make better products. Alain Rouleau Producer - X-Series Xtreme Prototypes, Inc.
