I was getting 8-9 fps and now ~26. 

 

And updating .NET allows for cleaner more efficient code. I'm not lying to you.

I would disagree, I just did a benchmark on a fresh install of the 777-300 and one airport. With it I went from 45fps to 21fps when using the taxi camera. The suspected .Net improvements you are getting seem out of place. 

Let me guess.... you want 64bit.
