Hi,

Did you get significant raise in fps?  And which cpu & frequency are you using?

Txs

Not really. I received a significant increase in smoothness. Raising scenery complexity and autogen to extremely dense or even full shadows used to stutter a lot on my older system, now it doesn't. I'd say the new GTX 1080 Ti was a worthwhile upgrade helping in those situations.

I have my i7 6700K overclocked at 4.5 GHz.

And what screen resolution (sorry if I missed it somewhere)?

No improvement from a 970 to a 1080ti? Oo

I saw exactly the opposite, did the same switch (but with a switch to the 1080 in between). Which resolution are you running?

In my case, I jumped from a GTX 780 to the 1080TI. Biiiiiiig difference!

Me I jumped fron GTX 780TI  to the 1080TI. But not very big difference.

At Heathrow Aerosoft Airport I have around 15 fps. I have i7 4790K.

Do you use EVGA Pecision XOC?  You run FSX or P3D?

Are you using 4k resolution?

My card is a Gigabyte Founder's edition. Running P3D v3.4.

I have a Planar PCT2265 Touch LED LCD Monitor and the max resolution is 1920X1080 as principal monitor and two LG

Yesterday I change the setup of my nvidia inspector, DX10 Scenery Fixer and my fsx.cfg by following this video and I have more stability and best FPS now. I remove also all setup that I did on EVGA Precision  OCX because I miss understand how to use correctly this tool. I hope to find a good tutorial about it.

Here the video who help me to setup my FSX graphic environment

Good launch ;)

Pierre,

I'm afraid there's little I can add to help as the biggest gain with the 1080TI (in my case) was in switching to 4k resolution.

I must say I'm surprised you're getting such low FPS. My experience has been very smooth so far. I love my 1080TI.

Cheers
