carenado phenom 300 with GTN 750

Bert,

I received the GTN 750 mod today.  Looks great but after power up I can't click on the "CONTINUE" button on the touchscreen to move to the main screen.  Also, the FMS knobs, MENU/FPL/PROC/CLR/ENT buttons don't work on the MFD or GCU 477.  However, the range knobs work on both.  I can get the GTN 750 popup but that doesn't work either.

I uninstalled Navigraph extension before modding the first time--no joy.  Then uninstalled/reinstalled the Phenom--no joy.  Instrument reflections are disabled--nothing.  Any words of advice?

Looking forward to enjoying the mod!  Thanks!

Neal

Does the GTN work in other airplanes?

The FMS knobs are not functional, you have to use the popup.

Good question ... I recently updated P3D to v3.4 and used the F1 updater to update my GTN 650/750 to v1.09 but haven't tested them in my other aircraft. At work now but will post a report this evening. Thanks for the tip on the popups. More later.

Hi Neal,

Current version of the GTN 650/750 is 1.17. Re-download the program wrapper from Flight1.com.

Flight1 just released V1.18 with native P3D 3.4.hotfix1 support.

Bert and Twenty6,

You're suggestions worked like a charm!!! Thanks for your help! I now have GTN 750 v1.18.

P.S. - just wonder why the F1 Update Tool only recognizes v1.09

Hi Guys,

Do I need to also buy the NAVIGRAPH EMB505 PHENOM 300 EXTENSION PACK from Carenado in order to do this mod after I purchase the GTN750 from flight 1?

The GTN 750 takes the place of Carenado navigation system. You will not need the navigraph extension pack. The GTN 750 is far superior in my opinon and I have tried both.

Thanks Bert for the MOD.  Got it in OK.  I tried to use the config to place unit 2 in but can't with the MOD.  Is there a way?

Nope.. at least not the way that Carenado built the panel.

Bert, can I also, humbly, beg for the GTN 750 mod. It looks fantastic in the photos and I'm addicted to using it in the other aircraft in my stable.
