June 9, 20178 yr Ronny could you please be more detailed as on how you managed to fix your blurry problem as it would help others here who face similar issues. I have blurry textures when running photo real scenery, but when using FTX Global, openLC, everything is sharp. I've been trying to figure out what's causing the blurriness when using photo scenery. Im still quote a noob with pc's but i went to the NVIDEA control panel en went to the 3D section. In there, i went to programs and looked for the program p3d. Then you can ajust settings. For example turn off fxaa. Ive done this GeForce BUT forgot to prees the apply button. Still, my blurriers aren't over yet. Im going to put some screenshots of it in this page tomorrow.

June 10, 20178 yr 13 hours ago, kurtb said: TEXTURE_SIZE_EXP=10 I don't think this is working. In fact it does the opposite. I quote poppet here: “TEXTURE_SIZE_EXP Is short for “texture size exponent” This is the resolution of the per-tile texture. By default this was 8 with previous versions of Prepar3D, 8 being each terrain tile at 256×256 texture. (2^8 = 256) TEXTURE_SIZE_EXP=9 This will use 512 sized textures and will look like you have double your LOD radius, You will need at least 6 gig of video ram to use this TEXTURE_SIZE_EXP=10 This will use 1024 sized textures, You will need at least 8 gig of video ram to use this Both settings will increase loading times” Cheers Jan 9800X3D | Asus ROG Astral 5080 | 64GB G.Skill RipJaws | 1T/2T/4T Samsung 990 PRO | Windows 11 | MSFS

June 10, 20178 yr Tweaking the config file really should not be needed. If you're getting blurries or bad performance on a half decent system and you've tried dialling your settings down a little to help alleviate the problem, then something else is wrong...

Is that the PMDG 747 you are flying? If so there is a separate PMDG issue with blurriness in their VC. YSSY.
