June 15, 20178 yr I have acquired both. Dawn of a new era. pug, I don't think Orbx has announced socal, and it sounds unlikely seeing as that's already covered by ipacs in the default sim. Orbx is releasing their existing airports, with extended photoreal surrounds. Their regions work primarily on landclass technology, which is not the way that AF2 is designed. June 15, 20178 yr I'm keen to join the AF2 fun, but my primary concern is what happens when you fly out of the Orbx Innsbruck coverage area? As impressive as it is, AF2 is so incomplete. I'm just not sure I want to start investing in something with such a long way to go. But no denying it looks amazing.

Am I missing something or just being stupid? Obviously it would be nice to do this through FTX Central as it will handle any necessary updating. Regards, Mike

Essentially, if you start central and receive the latest update, it will begin to list Aerofly as an available option for further purchases. FTX central will happily recognize your Steam version of Aerofly, and allow you to purchase Lowi and Meigs. Its up to you though whether you would like to purchase these new sceneries from Orbx through FTX central or wait until they are available on Steam. We are all connected..... I also see buildings behind them. Never experimented the same over NYC, California etc. Not sure this is due to LOWI or to some change withing the program itself.
