Hi David,

I've tried to cover all of your issues with videos, photos and documentation, I think I did a pretty good job showing B/M works. Sorry you're not able to enjoy this product, maybe one day the issues you have had and the growing pains of a new product will be nothing more than a bad memory and you'll see the light (pun intended).

It seems there may be some concerns about day time textures, I'll get a video or two online (I hope sometime today) ASAP.

Is BM Base or Vector tied to LOD Radius or does it extend out beyond?

EDIT: To be clear, when I fly off the coast of Florida, right now with OLC only, it's pretty pitch black.  Does BM Base work at further distances so that I can see city and road lights further away?

I think if I'm understanding the discussion here has something to do with the daytime and having BM installed with ORBX?  Not the nighttime version.  I think David is saying that the roads aren't matching the textures or landscape in some way?  I think this screen shot that david referenced was the one showing the issue.  It seems roads are just overlaid over buildings.  Sorry if I'm off here just trying to make heads or tails of what the actual issue is as it seems everyone is happy with BM at night time.  I guess where I'm getting is this the expected output in the screen shot below or is that what Chris is still sorting out?

I am glad you enjoy the product.
I was dreaming of a better night environment and didn't get it despite my various efforts to solve the Orbx incompatibility issue  in Europe (Regions seem to be the culprit).
Not a big drama.
It is the first time in my FS life that a dev is unrespectful with me publicly, no problem, I accept the lesson.
But I won't turn the other cheek for sure if he doesn't apologize.

Yes Chris, you are right, this was the only and unacceptable issue I had with BM.

Gotcha!  Too bad we can't just get something like ortho 4 xp for P3D.  That throws the road data correctly placed right on top of its satellite imagery counter part - and it looks magical.  I agree that during the day those roads look awful and thrown together.  No fault of the road data I'm sure but related to the texturing underneath.  Hopefully it gets sorted out as this product seems to have alot of potential.

Hi David,

I know the feeling of being wronged, its happened to me here by a mod. One of the reasons I don't post (with the exception of B/M) here anymore, but it's old news I've moved on. I hope one day you'll be able to enjoy the product.

yeah, the issue is day time.. not night. When so many "real" roadways are thrown in, These road textures are standard P3D road textures. (Thick), they overlay the textures (even if we don't use ORbx anything, we would have this issue) . IF P3D had provided the details roadways for all over the world in this detail.. I think ,it would look like that also. The  day time post-David posted)

This thread has gone south and way off topic, so I'm going to lock it.

Any specific support issues should be handled with the developer/publisher.

PM's are Private Messages ... hence the word "Private".

I know deep down here, everyone really loves each other and just the passion for flight simulation talking ... at least that's what I tell myself and it works for me :)

Cheers, Rob.
