If you're affected by the CTD which occurs with the September 2017 Update for Windows 10 1703, then you should definetly wait. If you're going for Windows 10 1709 (Fall Creators Update), then you have no chance in uninstalling the Cumulative Update as it is baked into the RTM Build.
