FTX Netherlands!

Featured Replies

It's a small and flat country but since I live there this news from Orbx's John Venema got me excited anyway! Here is what he posted just now on the Orbx forum:

"Netherlands. Watch this space, announcement and preview shots soon. Completely new tech for an FTX region too."

This was in reply to a question which would be the next region Orbx will be releasing. Curious what that new tech is too!

"A major Australian airport" maybe Perth? (Not the one they've already made).

Dag GSalden

So your are coming from Nl, sure that orbx shall never have a mesh problem in your country. 😃

For simmers of other countries... good to know... Nl is a very flat country, the people have hard worked to gain their grounds on the see.

I like a lot sceneris of NL 2000, free sceneries well done.

greating, (en tot siens)

Mark

I get to see the Netherlands for real for the first time in April. Can't wait!

I am very curious what Orbx will come up with. The Netherlands is too small for a full region, you'd say... maybe that new tech will give us very detailed scenery? Or maybe it will be photoreal...? But anyway, after 'learning how to enjoy' the German regions I am very happy John posted as a reply to my disappointment with Orbx not doing Holland. Glad he changed his mind and I can't wait for the upcoming news!

His name John Venema...

Agree and have explored it up and down too. I like the fact that city-dwellers are never too far away from the tranquillity of the farmlands.
