November 1, 20178 yr Nor sure of that, it seems that ENVSHADE comes with already compiled shaders sets. Maybe they found a way to update them on the fly through GPU? Just thinking... November 1, 20178 yr Thats from the TOGA forums: It seems that it doesnt apply ENVTEX shaders in some cases, thats why it still looks like P3D out of the box. TOGA recommends the following: Quote Please check ASCA integration is set to "Disabled" inside Envdir settings, we'll post an updated version of Envdir to prevent this to happen. As ENVTEX isnt integrated into ENVDIR yet (dont ask me why, thats something that should have been ready for launch), you need to disable ASCA integration in ENVDIR (but leave it on in ENVTEX) until a new ENTEX version is released that will integrate into ENVDIR

In theory You can do that as this is how Re-Shade already works (directly with the GPU), so maybe they found a way to enable or disable shaders filters via DirectX depending of weather conditions, etc. Oficial Website: https://www.FSReborn.com Discord Channel: https://discord.gg/XC82TqvKQ3

November 1, 20178 yr @kmax59 can you shed some light on the question if ENVSHADE is changing shaders dynamically (based on current weather/season/region)? There's quite some confusion around this
November 1, 20178 yr Thanks for the hint, Lars! Difference between default and ENVSHADE is still marginal: Default: Spoiler ENVShade High Quality Preset: Spoiler (Active Sky and) Reshade is still enabled & running in the background on both screenshots, but that shouldn't break any functionality of ENVShade's shaders?! Regards, Sebastian

Hmm true, not much difference indeed :/ Still at work, will try myself once i'm home

OMG! you cannot use Reshade and ENVSahde or Reshade and PTA at the same time, both tools are doing the same Job this is why you don't see any difference as RE-shade is taking precedence, it runs directly on your video card!!!! I downloaded their user's manual from the product page and it does a good job explaining how ENVTEX along with the preset shaders enhance the flight experience. If you have ASCA it integrates nicely with dynamic & global modes. Check out their manual. I read the manual but since I don't use ASCA and ENVTEX I don't understand everything written there. I only use REX4 and AS4 for my P3Dv4
November 1, 20178 yr Commercial Member Hello guys, Sorry if I'm not answering to you all as I'm crazyly busy right now, but I'd just like to inform you that we will be pushing a small patch for Envdir in a few minutes (about 15~20 minutes). This will solve a few minor UI issues and also a weird registry key issue that is actually caused by the simmarket installer, we found a temporary way to make sure the reg key is correctly detected even if it's not in the right place. You'll just have to redownload Envdir from our website and the installer should show 1.1.1.1. New users won't have to do anything, the simmarket installer automatically download the last version ;) Maxime TOGA projects
November 1, 20178 yr Same here.. testing and no difference at all between screenshots with the disabled ezca (that I do not have) Javier Rollon. Owner of JRollon Planes for Xplane
November 1, 20178 yr @simbolI don't think so. PTA and Reshade can for sure work together and run at the same time. Regards, Sebastian
