hi all,

If I just want the ability to assign keyboard/joystick for various look in the VC and does not care about the artificial effects, what are my options?  Both EZCA V2 and Chaseplane provide the extra features which I don't need, so I feel that's both will be a waste of my money.

Any suggestions?

Opus FSI - but they all cost more or less the same - and they all  have other features. 

As ErichB has already said Opus has options but to be honest, CP is revolutionary in its operation and user-friendly interface, I know its a little extra to splash out but honestly worth it.

Does it work with P3Dv4.1?

Aivlasoft SimpleCam works in P3D v4.1.  It works in the VC window.  You get 10 presets.  The other camera utilities just did too much for my needs, SimpleCam works great. 

edit. One more thing, if you try the demo I had issues with it verifying the "demo" license.  I have no such issues once I purchased the product.

Keep in mind that necroposting (posting in a very old topic) is frowned upon on this site.  I have approved your post and will check on it to see if you get any responses.

All I want is the cockpit moving for more realism.  I don't care about the views.  The standard views are OK with me.  Just give me COCKPIT MOVING FOR REALISM. What's your suggestion for that? Chaseplane was not friendly as far as I am concerned. EZdoc used to work well for me (years ago)  but I couldn't get the setting correct with the new version to give me what I want.

I went from SimpleCam to EzDok with no problems. I don’t know what problems you had with EZCA. Stock setup regarding movement works fine for me. EZCA for 5.2 won’t be available until the 25th. I went back to 5.1 so not a problem for me.

BTW, I didn’t care for CP either.

If all goes according to plan, the EZCA3 adaptation for P3D5.2 will be available as early as next Tuesday or Wednesday.

We are waiting for our chief programmer to return from vacation.
