April 26, 200620 yr Lennart,I solve the issue of trees on the taxiways by disabling one of the landclass files (I believe it is the one that has a "jv" on its name, but not sure at this moment) that come with Kaitak98.BestEdmundo Edmundo Azevedo
April 26, 200620 yr >VHHH2005b --- follow the readme in the download and install>into its own scenery folder.>>the autogen thing works finebut VHHH2005b has two zip files one with LC and another called AIRPORTS.ZIP. The AIRPORTS.ZIP changed nothing in scenary. I don't see that beautiful runway and building (like the GIF file) its supposed to have. If its an addon scenary, why does he insist on us extracting into FS(/scenary folder instead of into the ADDON SCENARY folder?Hmmm..MannyNEVERMIND: I figured it out. the cut paste thingi in the readme file is not right. April 26, 200620 yr I would like to register my appreciation to everyone involved with this project. It is thrilling to watch thoseBig heavies make there approach to 13, it actually reminds me of when I actually landed there in 1975, yep, along time agoBut I can still see the water (I was seated on the right hand side) rushing past as I looked out my window and reverseThrust was used (747-200) and thinking how long is this runway, it just didn

April 26, 200620 yr Hi Manny, I used a program called "ACA2005" this will allow you to list all your installed aircraft in a window which will also help u to identify what they are, real handy for Ultimate traffic. Then simply copy and paste the title to in between the quotes in the aircraft list supplied. (The decompliled flight plan) with the package. (I altered the cruise speeds as suggested in the readme)Compile the flight plan and your done.I did encounter a pronlem where during the compile an error popped up complaining that the flight plan was calling for an aircraft not in the aircraft list, it turned out to be an Australian airlines livery that was omiited in the list, just add an extra line in the aircraft list with the Livery and its fixed.Hope all this make sense. If u have any problems just email [email protected] :)

I shall consider that.. I am not a very brave man tinkering with my FS9. :(But Its very easy to change from VHHH to VHHX in Ultimate traffic. I just did utilities and searched (place holder on top) with VHHH and it got me the aiport. At the bottom placeholder, I typed in VHHX and saved it and copiled. Voila.. The traffic at VHHH disappeared and traffic at VHHX is fine. Except.. the AI buggers are not arriving and departing out of RWY13. Its from the opposite side. I tried changing the wind direction but that didn't help.I now need to figure out how to make the AI use Rwy13 instead of Rwy 31.HmmmmManny Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
April 26, 200620 yr Hi,You also need to reset ATC. After changing the wind, chose World/Map. Change your heading by one degree. Then click OK. Now they should use 13. If they don't, then there is something set up wrong.Hope this helps,--Tom GibsonCal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.comFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.comDrop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___ Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
April 26, 200620 yr Anyone have any idea if this is possible using Active Sky in real time mode?? I also use ( or would like to with this scenery) RC4 Any input would be appreciated. Thanks, Craig
April 26, 200620 yr I use ActiveSky 6 all the time and it works flawlessly with Kai Tak. Once it downloads the weather, ActiveSky resets the ai and atc for the correct active runway.KP
April 26, 200620 yr Active Sky gets real world weather. Once you start AS and leave it as is... you don't have to touch or do anything. No matter what you do with FS9, go anywhere any time.,.it'll update the weather with real world weather as default Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
April 26, 200620 yr Yup.. Got it to arrive and land on 13.WOW.. this is so cool. BTW.. how does it know that it needs to do that?... Why wouldn't it simply align itself with the runway and land straight in?How does it know its to use the ILS and then at that MM to turn right to the runway? What input source or data is it using? Really interesting.:)MannyExcept, I now have a memory leak somewhere.. Hmmm.. Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
