My example of removed bgl files from Orbx PNW because I have other scenery and the altitude files are of interest that you can remove or disable by adding another extension .bgl.off This information should be provided by Orbx in their compatibility forum, and by the scenery developer DD but last time I tried pointing out a problem in a scenery he called me a pirate, stealing his IP, and banned me.
May 1, 20188 yr Author I found the problems. The new DD Seattle X installs two Orbx PNW files in the scenery folder. When I removed them it works fine now. I don't have have Orbx PNW. Maybe a DD Seattle KSEA texture file from P3Dv4 could be used to fix. Any other thoughts? DD Stan resolved the white bridges from FSX. If anyone has this issue please contact him for the solution. May 2, 20188 yr Well, I won't be buying the update even though I have the original v1.0. I paid 25 Euros on simmarket, and it will cost me 12 Euros to upgrade = 37 Euros. The full cost of v 1.1 is 35 Euros...as an early adopter, why should I have to pay more. The original discussion on DD website was that the update would only cost 10 Euros...why the change? This is the post on page 1 of DD Seattle Airport Forum: "by DD Stanislaw » Friday 08 Dec 2017, 13:12 Hi. Please note: the upcoming v1.1 update of this product will be payware (~10eur) and will add KSEA Seattle-Tacoma airport and other details. The update will not be obligatory but highly recommended. After the update the price of the package will be equal to the v1.0+v1.1 update. If you choose to update - yes. The update featuring a future version of KSEA will probably be ready in about 1,5-2 months from now. The product now costs 25€, the update will cost ~10€ and when it is published the only purchasing option will be the whole package for ~35€. This gives you an advantage of getting the product 2 months ealier and at ~70% of the expected final price of 35€." i7-6700k • Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD5 • 32GB DDR4 2666 • EVGA FTW ULTRA RTX3080 12GB
May 2, 20188 yr Yes, you are right and that's possibly why other vendors still don't sell the upgrade. I am ready to pay the full price, but not more obviously! May 2, 20188 yr Just downloaded Seattle X 1.1 for P3D v4 and all the grass areas between runway and taxiways are elevated to the point you can't see what's on the other side. Uninstalled and re-installed. Any ideas of how to fix this? Mark Nelson

Unfortunately, Taxi2Gate KSEA must be removed if you have 2 sims because of SODE Jetways and others terrain issues. DD states their Seattle Airports X is compatible with KSEA T2G which you may want to find out with your machine. You may have different configuration. So, no verdict I guess ...... I wish to have DD KSEA in P3Dv4 with T2G KSEA in FSX but is nightmare to have 2 different ICAO developer in the same machine because SODE is sharing for both sims. I think SODE programmers could add a feature settings allowing us to select or deselect airports from different sims in order to activate Jetways. From SODE we can deactivate the whole Jetways for a selected sim but not for individual airport. Maybe in the future SODE can bring up with more options. Sounds like DD would be the winner of the two. It also sounds like T2G + DD on the same machine, even if different sims, is what's causing the issues for people. I might sit this out a little longer, but would see myself jumping to DD eventually. Thanks for the feedback! How's performance overall in P3Dv4? Better than T2G or about equal? May 3, 20188 yr Seattle Airports X now available at Aerosoft. 65% voucher for owners of previous version (before KSEA).

As usual when you have dueling airports you will have things you like better of of each one. I would pick DD KSEA as the over all winner but I did like T2G taxiway and runway texture better. And, I like the 3D grass of T2G. Other than that, DD is better in my opinion. I have seen no performance hit at all. Ken Thompson i7-4790 @4 GHz 64 Bit Win 7 16G RAM GTX 1080Ti

Thanks for the feedback! How's performance overall in P3Dv4? Better than T2G or about equal? For me the winner is DD KSEA for P3Dv4. The DD performance hits in FSX unless if installed the Lite version and FSX.cfg changing from 4096 to 1024 pixels. Now, I have installed DD in both, FSX and P3Dv4. I prefer T2G KSEA in FSX better performance but can't share SODE with DD and also some black squares injected from DD Seattle Airports X to the T2G KSEA terrain (some DD files need to be renamed to off to resolve T2G). So, DD Seattle Airports X for P3Dv4 and T2G KSEA for FSX if SODE can be edited. Otherwise, leave DD for both sim. Patricio Valdes
