That's not a micro-stutter though.  That's a considerably long pause.

I have also started to turn off dynamic lighting in the daytime which makes a significant difference to smoothing frames

Hi guys, 

Thanks for all the suggestions, really appreciate it. 

I managed to fix the issue with the help of poppet from Lockheed Martin, the following worked for me: 

'Try reinstalling your Graphics driver but using DDU Driver Display Uninstaller to remove your old driver first.''

And deleting these: 

Link,  Click here ---) Prepar3D.cfg file - Shaders folder - SceneryIndexes_x64 folder

Do you have NVIDIA Inspector installed? NVIDIA Driver V411.70 does not play well with NVIDIA Inspector V2.1.3.10.
