Yeah, my skin texture reacts really well to light now.  I've had so many compliments.  Everyone asks me what I use and I tell them Prepared No.5

Competition most times is a good thing.

IMHO ChasePlane lacks quality in terms of shaking and vibration effects, I used to have OpusFSX/FSI and it had much more realistic results.

I can confirm that:  Trying all three products (ChasePlane/EZCA/ OpusFSI) OpusFSI Camera is the last of my camera tools which remains my preferred one.

Regarding TrackIR integration, effects and stability it is the best and most reliable.  And no issues at all with a previous version of OpusFSI when a new P3D version comes out, unlikely to ChasePlane or EZCA.

For me by far the best camera tool on the market for someone who still loves TrackIR and realistic effects (e.g. throttle/power and strength of shaking, eye point setting and many more...) in combination with great performance.

  • 6 months later...

By reading through this post and many many other posts like this on various other platforms, I want to throw a stone in the bush... by saying this, for so many years now we all look forward to a new development or new simulator or a next upgrade that can make the all time slogan "AS REAL AS IT'S GETS" more REAL, but it simply keep get missing the target...WHY???

So I started to think all about this, and then i realize that this thing or mindset of "AS REAL AS IT GETS" is for many developers bove add ons and simulation development that something that they can use to keep us hooked for as long as possible...

Because all developers are in business to make money and lots of it too... So why in the world would any of them develop a product that will work out of the box from day one!? If they do then everybody will buy that product and end of the story and the money for that developer...

I bet with to days technology and expertise these developers can create and build a STATE OF THE ART simulatore that will work magic... but no that is never gonna happen...why? Because its business as usual... It's kind like politics they want your vote they don't worry much about an individual and his problems, the same here with this market, they want your money and nothing more or less...

Just look at Lockheed Martin for an example, they are a big company that develops real military aircraft and weapons that i think cost billions and billions of rand or dollars, so for that they need funds and lots of it... So there is where you and me came in with the currently situation with our simulation and ever demanding need for eye candy and a simulation platform that will ran as smooth as we can get...and we are all hooked because they know how much we like airplanes and the simulation world we have on our computers, and just about everyone gets their share of  the milking cow (you and me)... From the computer business and all that go with it like computer parts and graphics carts and upgrades to addons and simulators...it's all a big business for all of them.

So the long and short of this, whether its Prepar3d v5 or 10 for that matter... there will always be something missing and something not working quit as it should be...simply because of the above explanation... I even want to bet that in all the code and all that .xml and .ddl files in a simulator there is code written that when you first run the new update or version all looks and seem good, but then gradually things happen and stutters and bluries creep in again and there starts the tweeking and surging for something to make it disappear or better all over again...

What a paranoid post.

LM get their funding from the U.S. government through the U.S. taxpayers not from sales of their simulator.
