July 14, 200619 yr Deluxe - Garmin G1000 in 3 aircraft, 3rd party add-ons, tower control feature...This sounds fun :D Alaister Kay
July 14, 200619 yr Indeed. The improved terrain/scenery, plus the Garmin 1000 justifies the purchase for me already.Sold.
July 14, 200619 yr I guarantee someone will moan about being 'forced' to get the premium version for the extras though seeing no reason why they are not included in the base version...
July 14, 200619 yr >Deluxe - Garmin G1000 in 3 aircraft, 3rd party add-ons, tower>control feature...>>This sounds fun :DDunno if this was mentioned in earlier reviews / press info, but one of those screenies definitely looks like the flight deck of an A-320!
July 14, 200619 yr Got links for that Garmin G1000 in 3 aircrafts?HmmmmMannyNevermind.. Found it. :)http://www.avsim.com/pages/robertw/FSX/FS-X.htm Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
July 14, 200619 yr http://www.avsim.com/pages/robertw/FSX/FS-X.htm I wouldn't expect to see anything close to a fully-functional 1000. More like a redo of the 500. But any improvement is good.Doug Intel 10700K @ 5.1Ghz, Asus Hero Maximus motherboard, Noctua NH-U12A cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 3200 MHz RAM, RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, 100TB of disk storage. July 15, 200619 yr Alright now is that Sobelair a real shot or not? Looks too #### real..If not then holy cow.
July 15, 200619 yr I was just thinking the same thing Bill, that shot looks very nice, more so when you consider it's default. :-) Bernard
July 15, 200619 yr I wonder if thats the "last slide" showing the DX10 rendition... it's definately of a much higher quality than all the other screens.
July 15, 200619 yr It what I was thinking, maybe its the DX10 one. But why a real airline this doesn't make sence?? Why the video graphics looks so bad in comparison, it shouldn't be. Always so confused.
July 15, 200619 yr I'm not sure if that's dx10 and if it is i'm not very impressed but oh well they sold me along time ago. Kind of strange they called it fs 2006 in that comparison shot and fsx in all the others but whatever, same thing.
July 15, 200619 yr Would have been great to have a pilot / co-pilot feature in there, too, but I guess Aces ran into problems of some kind with shared controls (one guy's pulling left, the other's pulling right, etc, etc). I wonder if both will still be able to click on switches at the same time, even if only one can "control" (steer) the plane?I imagine you can move the eyepoint around even in a shared (virtual) cockpit (separately from the other player), so you *could* always simulate a pilot / passenger situation....but in the long run that probably gets dull :)
July 15, 200619 yr Great job MS. Love your work :)I am also intrigued as to what "3rd party" aircraft we could have in the deluxe version. Could it be PMDG, Phoenix, Carenado??? Who could possibly be working with Microsoft on the deluxe version? Incidentally, is this the first time that MS have seeked out 3rd party vendors to add to FS? I can't think of any other version that has anything but Microsoft owned material included. I would love to see this DirectX 10 shot as well. Robert Whitwell...Can you confirm that this slide is not currently in your article? I remember Gamespot were equally impressed when they were shown a DirectX 10 slide (that water and mountain comparison shot floating somwhere on the avsim forum). But didn't tdragger say that this was more of a rendition and not the real deal? Do you reckon that was the same slide?Sorry I am asking alot of questions that are not really aimed at anyone, just me rambling!!! Microsoft keep making me happy!!!!RojanTrojanwww.cessnasim.blogspot.com

Where is tdragger we need answers? :( @viz Yeah, if that's default for the detailed airports, I'm thinking payware sceneries are going to have to be insane in detail to get my money.
