There were a few versions of the Ag Cat with different modifications and different engines; some were fairly unique among biplanes in being built with a pressurised cockpit so it could spray pesticides with no chance of the pilot ingesting any of the aerosol fumes, which I should imagine would probably be useful for it when throwing out all those pyrotechnics. Being intended for carrying a large amount of stuff to spray, it is probably ideal for carrying loads of smoke oil and pyrotechnics without affecting its ability to fly properly.
