......rumor has it FSX is set to release in the U.S. October 30th. This date hasn't been announced yet but comes from a MS insider. He'd probably be in big trouble if I said who, lol, so I won't.-=MAB=-

I don't think that's right. It's going to be released November 7th in the U.S. I know this is true because my cousin got that date from his boss who lives next door to a guy who works at a Starbucks where one the ACES team often has coffee. The Starbuck's guy overheard it in the men's room there and put the date his blog on the internet. And, we all know, it must be true if it's on the internet.Doug

You both are wrong, it's Sept 30. Coming straight from the mouth of the girl that used to date the guy that knows 2 people that hang out with the 2nd guy in charge of the one person that knows all there is to know about the number 7 guy that used to work with the guy next to Jason when he had his job in the building at the main office that Bill Gates drove by on his way home. So it can't be wrong!Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/mcdcvabanner.jpgCalVirAir International

Piffle.. all ya'll are all wrong. I can't reveal my sources, but they tell me that the place to be is the AVSIM Convention where the truth will be told and you could walk/fly/drive home with a copy of FS-X or have it mailed to you upon release. All ya'll aren't thinking. Think about timing, events, and the phases of the moon! Alignments are important ya'll. :)

I am a professional trouble-shooter / mechanic / technician. I can fix anything, no matter if I've ever seen it before or not. I have used my best, most delicate instrument to divine the release date for FSX.It's a secret, so I'm not going to tell you... but I know that my information is as good as gold.Because my Magic 8 Ball told me so.Scott / Vorlin

Confuscious say it will be released when it is ready to be released... :-rofl In the meantime enjoy some fresh air, you won't get much of it once it's released because you'll be inside in front of a computer screen :D

Alignments are important ya'll. :)Thats not too far from the truth actually.A late release (December time) coincides with a stellium in Sagittarius with a possible sextile from mars in Sagittarius to Uranus in Aquarius. Try to release it at 11:00 local time so that the ascendant would be Aquarius, with mars in the 9th house and venus in 11th house.

FSX will be released precisely 2 hours 24 minutes before the first complaint is posted at AVSIM... :)

>FSX will be released precisely 2 hours 24 minutes before the>first complaint is posted at AVSIM... :)Yeah...like it'll take that long....

Everybody is wrong! I have a working copy of FSX now in full DirectX 10 capability right now. My buddy Bill Gates sent it to me. Actually, he had his boys fly it over on his very own Lear 45. They even let me fly the local pattern in the Lear by myslef, and I only have 10 hours in a C-172 (back in 1984) as a student pilot - without even soloing yet. FSX is great! I am getting 50 plus frames per second with my new DirectX 10 video cards on my brand new Duel Core Intel Processor. All sliders are maxed. I won't give too much away though. I promised Bill I would not say anything, so keep it to yourselves, please! BTW- It includes an SR-71 and even an X-15 to take advantage of all of the upper atmosphere work they have included. Why in the heck else would they model it up to 100,000 plus feet. OK guys, let me go, I am going to FSX around for awhile before my wife comes back in and hijacks the computer.RH

ah, so it's been out for about half a year and noone told us?

Bill, I think you are being WAY over optimistic! I reckon 23 minutes, 4 and half seconds. That reminds me; I guess we'll have to go out and buy a new heavy duty server to put just the MSFS forum on for the deluge right after release. Sigh...

You'll probably need one for the screenshots forum too..
