Im confused again after watching the stream haha. I heard during the stream that you don't need to have skyforce open for the structure/model sync. Sorry for all the questions.

April 28, 20197 yr I think he is excited about REX EF and the tweaking as I am also. He wanted to share the excitement in another thread. Am off from work Tuesday ready for the download..Yeah! Maurice J I9 12900k \ EVGA 3080ti \ G-Skill 32GB \ Samsung 4K TV
April 28, 20197 yr I have never like the light from dawn to dusk in p3d. Even with pta and other shader programs. I have been looking at xplane videos and downloaded the demo but have not tried it yet. ‘If EF puts that lil bit more tweak to that light in p3d I’ll stay with p3d where I have put all my cash into. The water looks great in the video to. Maurice J I9 12900k \ EVGA 3080ti \ G-Skill 32GB \ Samsung 4K TV

Is it ok here and beta testers did test on this? Good example for tests is He-111 of AeroplaneHeaven for P3Dv4.4+. PTA has issues on PBR textures (clouds shadows shader). Clearly, PTA, gives life to the SIM, however, adjusting to someones liking is very difficult, at least for me, to the point that, tweaking brought me to the point that I had to re-download your April set-up and start all over again. It is very complex add-on and few things some people, including me, can't fix it. There are of course Images, but when I try to replicate what is there suggested, I am not getting same result. I would fix for day flying, once night falls, I see nothing few feet away from my cockpit. Once landed, I literally have to taxi with Landing lights in order to find the gate. Nothing against ability of the PTA, but lack of available shadders (presets) for download is something that bothers me as well.... As far as I see yours is only available and Adam still hasn't posted his for 2.66...it says soon....and of course default by Matt. Unless I am wrong, not sure.... You really helped and answered every time I had a question, but I still don't like what I see (to my liking). When I see your screen shoots, they are stunning, but I am not getting even close to that.I made changes to the most of your presets, reverting them to Default one by one, but again, doing this i am slowly going back closer to only having ASP4 and REX look. Needles to say that even my monitor drives me banana and can't adjust it properly. Now, I am curious to see what this will give us, and how it will look and what will actually do. As far as I read on their site it looks like it has similar variables for adjustments, yet it says things about compatibility. I guess in other words they don't won't to say, no you don't need your current shadder programs...LOL, maybe they are playing nice. Once it becomes available I will closely monitor. Alex
April 29, 20197 yr From what I heard on the twitch a weather program or shader program will work with EF but are not compulsory it will work with or without, better to wait till we get it then we will know. Raymond Fry.

I use both, but with EF, most of the features will be redundant. We'll still need tomato for things like VC and aircraft lighting and reflections, but being able to tweak on the fly is something that I've been waiting on for a while now.
