The in-cloud effect consists of dozens of fx files, so it's not like HiFi didn't try to match various dawn, day, dusk and night conditions.

So i have bought Rex SkyForce 3D awhile ago. And i have recently installed a fresh copy of P3d 4.5. Do i need to install SkyForce 3D inorder for Enviroment Force to work? Or does Enviroment Force include Skyforce 3D?

I think you only need to have it installed if you want to use the SkyForce textures. Environment force can sync skyforce textures in real-time into the sim.

In the other thread you mentioned that Skyforce would need to also be open to use the cloud model sync, but in the FAQ it says:

"There is no need to run any other REX software to benefit, as the programs will speak to each other without the need to open them."

Which has me a bit confused.

I’m sorry for the confusion. For cloud MODEL sync Sky Force must remain open, but for sky and cloud TEXTURE sync only, it’s not necessary.
