But we do have the Connie covered in the sim which I enjoy... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_377_Stratocruiser A2A has one, truly excellent but not yet ready for P3Dv4. Mine works in P3Dv3. June 17, 20196 yr Author All interesting choices ! Crossing the fingers but except for the Concorde and maybe the Stearman, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for them though 😊 ! FS Labs are working on a 64-bit version. No release date known but it is coming. I too love the challenge of not just flying it but managing the fuel too. I am no long-hauler but always have been intrigued by the Concorde (specially the approach and landing phases). One of the reasons, I shied away from this bird is the fuel management chores. I do the "balancing act" on my warbirds and GA, don't think it is where the fun is though ! Is there a FE on the FSLabs Concorde ? June 17, 20196 yr Suprunov Design Yak-40... hell that was a wonderful plane to go nearly into everything paired with some nice system depth back for these days... Sadly the developer Igor passed away too early. Cheers T.

Is there a FE on the FSLabs Concorde ? It's a brilliant aircraft to fly. Challenging? You bet. It's certainly not for those who are accomplished with the Cessna and want to take the next step. You do need to be competent flying large aircraft. The landing is the most difficult aspect because the delta wing is so inefficient at low speeds. N2 on approach is 87%. Anything less and you'll stall. Landing speed is around 155kts. Take-off speed is anything from 139kts (light load, short flight) to 195kts (London-New York, 100 pax, 95T of fuel). By the time the wheels leave the ground you're doing close to 250mph! Fortunately there is a Virtual Flight Engineer who will handle all aspects of fuel management until you feel ready to tackle it yourself. It's not as difficult as it sounds because essentially you get the CG correct for take-off and then leave it alone until Mach 0.7 when you start to pump fuel rearward to tank 11 until the two forward tanks are empty. There it stays until the decel point when it is moved forwards to the front tank. Remember Concorde had no elevator - so no trim. Balancing the CoG was done by moving fuel. Easy peasy once you know how! 😁 Ray (Cheshire, England).
