AI Lights Reborn Professional Edition

Emailed, I've created the xml but I have some issues with p3d recognising the addon which it isn't

Also, forgive my ignorance but if I change the location of my ai, will that mean that all of my traffic files will need to be compiled again?

When you change your location of AI - at first P3D needs to see it load up.  And then run AI Reborn Pro - b/c it will automatically scan the AI which P3d Sees.

My custom AI database is located in the P3D SimObjects folder, and everything works fine.....

I respect that Simbol amongst other devs are using the new xml way but it seems quite a stretch that all users will adapt to the same way to make ai lights pro work. i had the free version before and this had no trouble locating the traffic in the default directory.

What can I do to adjust the Nav lights. They are so small hard to see at default settings.

Same here. Also, is there a way to make beacon and strobe lights not pulse and flash instead?

Dan and Dimitrios,

Try this. Go to the Configuration tab and on the upper left side select Expert. On the right side select what res you're using then Save Configuration:

The program will re-scan your AI then re-start. Select the AI Lights settings tab and you'll find yourself at this screen:

Try these settings out and see if they help. Be sure to use the Live Preview with P3D running so you can see what it looks like. If you click on the Nav or Landing boxes you will be taken to a separate screen where you can choose between a number of different sets with a preview image of what they look like.

Hope this Helps!

Gerald

Go to config panel, change the scaling algorithms, change to expert interface, increase the size of the nav textures and the color intensity it will help over long distances.

I'm glad I purchased the Pro version and I have been messing around with the settings for over an hour. I think I'm probably going to go back to the Free version. Reason being it was simple and it worked. The pro-version is great for power users but with no manual I'm pretty much lost and I don't want to screw anything up.  😞 Maybe once someone make a instructional video or a manual than I will look at it again.

Is there a specific reason why you are "messing about with the settings"? The Professional version can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be.

So do you suggest we just leave everything at default? I thought the Pro version was to allow the user to make adjustments. I'm slowly figuring it out. Its new to us and no manual so it will take time and questions.

I wasn't sure if you wanted it to be simple or complex. So, are you looking to change the effects sizes and intensities globally (across your entire AI database), or on a model by model basis?
