Which scenery?

Featured Replies

I am going to buy some scenery and there are two different versions of the scenery. I would like to know which ones are the better ones

San Diego - Latin VFR or Orbx

Innsbruck - Orbx or JustSim (v3)

Chicago O'Hare - FSDreamteam or Drzewiecki Design

Barcelona - JustSim (v2) or Latin VFR

Seattle - Taxi2Gate or Drzewiecki Design

If I buy the Drzewiecki Design Seattle city and/or Chicago city scenery will the FSDreamtean O'Hare and/or the Taxi2Gate Seattle fit in?

Innsbruck - Orbx

Taxi2Gate for Seattle

San Diego - either

Innsbruck - Orbx

Chicago - either (I prefer FSDT)

Barcelona - LatinVFR (Aerosoft better)

Seattle - Drzewiecki Design (the developer is still around, unlike T2G)

Both DD city products will work with FSDT KORD and T2G KSEA. Just needs a few files to be amended.

AMD Ryzen 5800X3D; MSI RTX 3080 Ti ; 32GB Corsair 3200 MHz; ASUS VG35VQ 35" (3440 x 1440)
Fulcrum One yoke; Thrustmaster TCA Captain Pack Airbus edition; MFG Crosswind rudder pedals; miniCockpit FCU; CPFlight MCP 737; Logitech FIP x3; TrackIR

MSFS; Fenix A320; A2A PA-24; HPG H145; PMDG 737-600; AIG; RealTraffic; PSXTraffic; FSiPanel; REX AccuSeason Adv; FSDT GSX Pro; FS2Crew RAAS Pro; FS-ATC Chatter

I only own two on your list -

Innsbruck - Orbx all day long and,

Barcelona - Latin VFR, you get a nice amount of surrounding city included.

Thanks for the responses. I didn't know Aerosoft also made Barcelona for P3D (I had that scenery for FS9). I will have to look into that one too.

LatinVFR for KSAN.

Gigabyte x670 Aorus Elite AX MB; AMD 7800X3D CPU; Deepcool LT520 AIO Cooler; 64 Gb G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO DDR5 6000; Win11 Pro; P3D V5.4; 1 Samsung 990 2Tb NVMe SSD: 1 Crucial 4Tb MX500 SATA SSD; 1 Samsung 860 1Tb SSD; Gigabyte Aorus Extreme 1080ti 11Gb VRAM; Toshiba 43" LED TV @ 4k; Honeycomb Bravo.

I also recommend LVFR for Barcelona.....it’s fantastic.

9800x3d, ASUS TUF x870, 64GB G.Skill DDR5, MSI Ventus 4080, HP Reverb G2 VR, FlyVirtual.net, Private Pilot SEL rating, subLogic FlightSim 1983 & every release since

I will not install DD sceneries after my experience with their New York stuff.

I like the Aerosoft Barcelona but have to turn off their horrible photo scenery.  Given a choice between Orbx and anyone else I'll go with Orbx.  Usually blends better with the other Orbx regional or landclass products I use.  The new FSDT O'Hare is pretty nice.

For KSAN, I've used both and like both (but I would add simwestSOCAL/simwestSANDIEGO to further enhance!  😁
