You think Austin has deeper pockets than Microsoft? 😉 Not certain, but LM pulled the Textron products out of P3D. And we haven't seen any in the previews yet. I think Textron has considerable licensing fees as well. edit: Actually it looks like a Cessna 172 G1000 in the stall/spin preview video... I missed that! I think Textron has considerable licensing fees as well. Just speculation as usual, but Lockheed-Martin is a builder of real world aircraft, as well as a flight sim developer. The licensing and promotional considerations for competing aircraft may be very different from Laminar or Microsoft making consumer-level flight sims, when they're not direct competitors and only modeling the aircraft in a sim. Same for Textron. And we've already seen a C208 Caravan in the preview trailer. X-Plane and Microsoft Flight Simulator on Windows 10 i7 6700 4.0 GHz, 32 GB RAM, GTX 1660 ti, 1920x1200 monitor

September 18, 20196 yr The Caravan also appears in an Insider screenshot, first one on the list. It says "Grand Caravan" on the tail, so it's definitely not some fictional aircraft that happens to look like the Caravan in order to avoid licensing issues.

I know the production stopped but it is no less than the bigger airliner made in history, a lot of major airlines use it today and it can be seen at all the main international airports. Remember one of their first posts : wide body jets... Edited September 18, 20196 yr by Noooch

I do hope they are in the initial release with some cool missions and/or tutorials though, for beginners and me, like FSX. I still fly those stupid GREEN square tutorials once in awhile in the mission area just for the heck of it. And I still enjoy it too for a change once in awhile. You know where you go through the GREEN gates 🙂 It was shown an Icon A5 on some of the shots. It could be considered a float plane. 9800X3D@H150i // Msi RTX 5090 Trio OC // 64GB DDR5 6000mhz CL30 // 2TB + 1TB Nvme Dell 27" 2127DGF - 1440p - Gsync - 165hz Thrustmaster TCA Sidestick Airbus // TCA Quadrant Airbus // TFRP T.Flight Rudder Pedals // Logitech Flight Multi Panel
September 18, 20196 yr I think the A400M would be a really great choice since it can do all sort of flights and missions, including refuelling and landing on short and unpaved runways. It also have a gorgeous cockpit.

Not the passenger version the few remain airlines are removing them from the fleet, no longer cost effective. Edited September 18, 20196 yr by rjfry Raymond Fry.
