It`s not going to make any difference the only good thing is it prompted some member to make there first post.

Please stop with the conspiracy theories. Nobody can vote in this poll unless they are an AVSIM member in good standimg.

Is it important that we have members here that are also members on other sites? No it isn't. I'm sure a good number of you in this topic are also members of other sites, Reddit, and Flightsim as examples.

As has been stated, it looks like someone has lobbied for VR votes so it is what it is. That's the way polls and social media work

It shouldn't be of great concern, however, as Microsoft and Asobo are fairly intelligent and I'm pretty confident that they have or are currently looking at everything in this and other polls. This poll was for our own information.

Only post that needs to be quoted repeatedly is this.

Reading this post and comprehending it seems to be a huge problem for some here

The testers have put out more follow up Videos which confirms this poll will make no difference no seasons and VR at launch, they have there hands full working on what`s in the final build that`s a long way from ready, hence the pre-alpha so sorry guys we have all dipped out, 2021 or 2022 may be. I will stay with what I have for now and watch it develop.

Oh so you're on the season development team?

It's wrong to flood a poll, but, as Rick said, it happens.  Microsoft knows this.

Seasons all day.   VR is neat, and I'm sure it'll be in at some point (after all, this is 2019/2020), but, what I see in my VR (perpetual summer) is more important.  I do not want to see perpetual summer in my VR world.  Please and thank you.

I cannot imagine a flight sim with a selling point of the photo real scenery NOT including VR for VFR.

the current generations of headsets are easily good enough for this. I spend 100% of my time in il2, Xplane, dcs in VR, and for me it is incomprehensible for ms to say fs2020 ‘might’ support VR.

vr support is not something you can lob in last minute, it needs careful thought and consideration down to as banal a topic as ‘how will our user interact with menus/settings’

it needs to be looked at now imo.

More info

I doubt that MS will give anything on a poll with only 600 votes out of 200.000 members of this forum alone! Not even 0.5 % of the members! No one who knows anything about statistics (and I am sure they do) would do...

I trust that MS has its target group defined and we the hard core simmer are only a part of it. I doubt that many casual simmer will miss ATC of seasons or VR at the beginning.

I trust MS and I can wait...

As someone here already said,  VR is a "must have" for only the few simmers who can afford it. It is not a "must have" at all for the vast majority of simmers, hardcore ones or not. It may be the future and it will be adressed in the future. The priority for Microsoft is to release the product in 2020 and to release it well. As you said, VR is not something which will be made in a few days and will need a lot of efforts et ressources. You should understand that ATC for example is inherent in aviation, it concerns almost everyone and you can t have any realism without it. I sincerely hope it will be treated as the number 1 priority by the team.

I can't fly without VR once you have tried it.  No matter how great this looks it wont feel as good as other sims in VR

It will never compare to FSX in VR in which has enough free modding to last me the next 5 years.(creating my own 3D VR scenery at the moment)

No matter how wonderful it feels and looks on a 2D 4K screen.

So FSX w/ Flyinside will be my VR go to and MSFS11 will be my 2D 1440P(I’m never buying a 4K Monitor) go to.

VR would be nice. I feel there's not enough good options for quality vr flight experiences when it's one of the obvious killer apps.  I just set up my pimax 5k and Sim setup and need more stuff to play!
