So even if they are new members here or are existing members but don't comment that much or haven't in a while, their opinions are valid? October 9, 20196 yr @ n4gix Idle curiosity Bill, will it allow each member to vote only once? J. R.
October 9, 20196 yr I might have been good to have poll options that expanded a bit to better understand the situation, such as: Yes No No, but I'd like to in the future if MSFS offers it. No, I tried it and it wasn't for me Edited October 9, 20196 yr by irrics

No, I tried it and it wasn't for me I didn't author the poll, but do understand the intention to assess the current status, not some nebulous "future" status. For instance, I don't currently use any simulator, VR or not... Even an option to articulate that might capture more useful data. If I were using one though, I would be using XP with VR, so I chose "yes". I think many people have been pulled back out of the woods from "no longer simming" by the MSFS announcement. Oh well Edited October 9, 20196 yr by irrics
October 9, 20196 yr This poll needs an option that offers "sometimes... or if the mood strikes... during specific phases of flight like takeoff and approach" For the lot of us that use VR on a regular basis, it's not as black and white as a yes or no question. October 9, 20196 yr Simple questions are the best polls. It gets too muddy when you dont include the why and tally that up. But inevitably I'm waiting for someone to say its rigged. This is simple. Flightsims and VR. not trying to compare all Steam users to who in avsim that uses Flight sim on a Tuesday

I don´t buy this "low resolution, can´t read gauges" speech anymore, At 1.6 on a Rift S there´s no need to lean forward to be able to read them. October 9, 20196 yr As far as the Steam issues and reporting on hardware is concerned... I've had SteamVR running and when it polled me on my hardware, it still said, "No VR Headset detected." So... I don't know how statistically interesting it is, but Steam itself is underreporting how many people have VR headsets attached.
