Not interested beta testing a feature complete sim at all. As a long time FDE designer I would have loved being involved in the development of the SDK. 

I had the impression that they are actually looking for people who could contribute to the new sim, that was the only reason I applied on day one.

Even sent them the e-mail they requested on the 16th.

Nothing.

Guess it's time to re-install DCS and forget about the new sim until its out.

Ah well, maybe on the next set of invites. I have an i7 running at 4.00GHz and 32 gig of ram so I'm pretty sure it's my gtx970 that is keeping me out of the test so far but I'm not going to upgrade yet. after all they are going to have to test the slightly weaker systems at some point so I will wait patiently till then.

I feel like Alpha wave 2 will be around Feb so you, me, and the rest of the lads will give it another crack then. No point in dillydallying, I have an FSL A321 I need to get my money's worth out of. 😂

I hope you are corect but what makes you think the next wave will be in Feb? It can very well be in may or so... (that would be terrible)

Maybe for the next wave of builds I should consider downgrading my computer to have a chance of getting in lol

It is not, someone with a GTX 960 was accepted according to a spreadsheet on Reddit. As I said before, even if someone meets all the criteria that Asobo have set, it does not guarantee access due to the sheer amount of users that signed up for the alpha. We don't know if they have actually set any criteria, but it was obvious that for the Tech Alpha 1 waves almost all testers had to have 32GB RAM, and for the first Alpha wave the overwhelming majority were also equipped with 32GB but we saw some getting invited with 16GB or 8GB. Still, having 32GB does not guarantee access, because if they invited everyone with 32GB in, they'd have too many testers flooding the forums with their reports, and the infrastructures would be overwhelmed.

What makes me think that? The warm fuzzy feeling that I call happiness. Nah, just a dart board. First alpha was like December ish? I reckon they'll start ramping it up eventually. Hopefully do some open stress tests, stuff like that. Kind of like what happened with sea of thieves.

Dont fret the "Unfinished" SDK doesnt get released until next week and then people like yourself can provide feedback.
