In some ways it was like a chat room with a 3D world. There was some serious flying and some just-for-fun stuff. I showed one user a route I took to hit all the tour flight destinations on one island, for example, and a bunch of people got together to see how many aircraft they could land on top of a particular hangar at the same time (11 if I remember correctly) or on top of the Hilo control tower (3 was the max). One time I landed near a city to watch the sunset. I only wish I'd had someone else there to discuss it at the time. We know one guy here who really loves multiplayer formation flying. Multiplayer air combat sims are incredible. I spent a lot of time in WarBirds, sometimes joining the flight, sometimes just sitting in the "control tower" and watching the action. Hook i miss that . MS flight multiplayer was fun in a respectful way . Image removed as image is no longer available.

But you seem to imply that flaps can't get damaged? Lastly, I believe you meant the contraction of "you are" which is "you're". You are talking about 'respectful conversation'? olderndirt was correctly replying to the OP who ask for flaps falling off if you exceed VNE. Edited February 25, 20206 yr by FDEdev

Commodore VIC-20 ftw! That and the Kaypro 2 were the only computers I ever owned that did not have a flight simulator of some sort on them. 😉 Edited February 25, 20206 yr by eslader Ryzen 7 7800X3D/B650 X AX | 5090 | 32gig | Win10 | Pimax Crystal Light

I did not laugh at what he said, nor did I call him names, nor imply names. So not sure what was disrespectful. If you mean the your/you're, that was meant to be helpful. In another post I told him how to do quotes, so we would know who he was talking to. That was also meant to be helpful and not condescending. It is hard to hear tone in a typed message. Which is why I often edit my messages if I reread them and I think the wrong message could be sent. So, sorry if it was disrespectful. And sorry if this reply somehow came off as disrespectful. (That is not sarcasm, but sincere) Edited February 25, 20206 yr by GlideBy My brother has Coronavirus, confirmed by testing. On 3/26 he almost didn't survive the night. He had extreme trouble breathing and was given a steroid inhaler. He was very weak, had nausea, and other issues that aren't pleasant. As of this update he is feeling much better, and seems he will be fine. Stay safe out there. (Updated 4/6)

February 25, 20206 yr Author I just thought it was fun to wing kiss or refuel with a hose in MP, my post does not relate to griefing. The possibilty to ghost your plane should be added indeed.

I got called out by a moderator by being a bit snarky on a forum when I told a guy he could press "any key, any key at all" and had to explain to the mod that this guy was a good friend and we went around and around like this occasionally. Oh, and the guy asking about the any key on the forum was serious. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
