The list I saw was a rather very short list. Let's Pete Dowson do the talking.

Thanks anyway.

Cheers, Ed

That IS a quote from John Dowson off the FSUIPC website. Don't think there is anything else at this time. FSUIPC downloads always contain an update list.

Any idea when V6 will actually be available for purchase?  It is listed, but, can not be purchased as yet.

but it`s not possible to purchase at the moment, correct?  I only can add it to my wish list.

I'm just sorting out the key generation mechanism with SimMarket, Should be available to purchase by tomorrow.

Pete hit the nail on the head really - I do not want to move to a subscription model but also have to generate some income or I cannot continue to support and develop FSUIPC. I did consider a donation model for this release but I'm afraid it just wasn't possible.

I really don't think I need to justify the upgrade price any further (although I'm willing to discuss with anyone over a pint!). If you are not happy with the upgrade price, then don't purchase! FSUIPC5 will continue to be supported.

And thanks to all those for their support and kind words.

Regards to all.

Pete and John....Thanks for your continued support for our Hobby. The "I want free stuff crowd" are like Covid-19. It just seems like they will never go away.

So, questioning the value of a product and its pricing is like the Corona Virus? Got it. I'm a customer, I'm not breaking any rules here, so I can question until the cows come home and the very large lady starts singing.

Check the History document for FSUIPC4 or FSUIPC5, whichever you have, to see how much development was done for the price -- even a small price if upgrading from the version before -- to see how much it was developed over its life, much in direct response to user requests.

You appear to be expecting a short life for FSUIPC6 / P3Dv5. Why is that?

i'm glad to pay this price to move to FSUIPC6.  Great program.  Fairly priced.  I'm also in the camp that's embarrassed by some of us here who expect people to work for free.

Sir,

You don't have to justify anything to anyone here.

But, you know this already.

Having met your dad in person at Flightsim 2017 with Ray(no other), I have already put my name on the Wish List.

Although its listed at SimMarket, at the moment, (13:06 EDT 14 April), there is no option to actually purchase the registration code yet. I assume that will change once the official release time of P3D V5 arrives later today...

The actual installer for FSUIPC 6 is already downloadable at Pete/John's site

OK, everyone has had their say - let's shut this down.

The option for the buyer is simple - buy it or not - your choice - we need no further justification from Pete and John.
